Fannon couples that you like

So we have a thread for fannon couples that you hate. What are some characters that you like as a couple that are not at all cannon? It's not supposed to be serious, but for fun. You can put some actual thought in to why you'd like the characters to be together or your reason can simply be that they'd look hot together XD

And please no Cloud/Aerith or Cloud/Tifa as the forum does not want any LTD debates in any threads.


Mine:

Vaan and Ashe. I liked these two together and was a little sad when they were not the intended couple. The couple dynamic would have been very interesting because Ashe was for the most part a tough girl.

Larsa and Penelo. Lol I liked these two together too. There was just something cute about the two of these.

Aerith and Tifa. Lol my favorite FF girl and girl pairing. I actually think these two could have worked well together. You'd have Tifa the shy tough girl and Aerith the out spoken healer.

Realm and Gau. Yes it's complete crack! But I feel that they were meant to be XD

Lulu and Auron. These two just seem much more compatible than Wakka and Lulu.

I always thought that Yuffie and Reno would have made an interesting couple.

They both seem like high maintenance sort of people with a bit of a spark, and they just would have been cute together in my opinion. >.<

Rikku and Gippal was sort of suggested in FFX-2 I think (maybe I've read too many fanfics and it's clouded my mind) but I think they would have been an awesome couple. Very cute together.

Another one which is a bit of a crossover. I think that Yuna and Cloud would have been cool together as well. XD

I just think that because Yuna is so positive and caring that she'd be able to help Cloud so much. And I think it'd be so cute having him defend her if needed. XD I think they'd be a compatible pairing in my eyes.

I'm not sure about liking Fannon couples. Never been a big fan of that, but... As far as interstingness goes...

RenoxYuffie - I don't know. This would just be a real playful couple, I think. ... On many levels ...

BiggsxJesse - I don't know why. But I've actually liked this couple. Seems like he'd cheer her up when she'd need it, and like her tomboy-ish character.

I aswell thought Yuffie and Reno would be the perfect match for eachother both goofy and smart, both smexy as can be hehe Just think of the fun these two would get themselves into hehe!

Yay,Reno x Yuffie.They'd definitely be hot and so much unlike.

I'd have loved to see something between Tseng and Aerith,as Rude hitting on Tifa.

Cloud x Sephiroth is above all of course.

YuffiexVincent - I used to hate the idea of this couple, but now they're probably my favorite fanon pairing. I like the idea of her having to rescue him from his demons and show him how to love again.

SeiferxQuistis - I like the idea of this pairing because it's your typical "good girl falls for bad guy" scenario.

Those are pretty much the only two fanon couples I like, unless people consider FranxBalthier fanon. It was pretty heavily implied I thought that they were actually a couple, so they fall under my canon favorites.

Oh, I like a lot of fanon couples. Usually they are much funnier than the canon ones. My favorites would be:

Sephiroth x Cloud - my number one fave, and I'm not ashamed to admit it, lol. There's so much I could say about them and their dynamics. There's the fact that Cloud hero-worshipped Sephiroth (and that all his childish admiration was so easily betrayed, twisting itself into loathing and probably a lot of sorrow); there's the fact that Crisis Core showed us Sephiroth in a completely different light, as the introverted soldier who did have human feelings (and whether people like it or not, he is a character you can sympathize with, not only due to the show off of his human side in CC, but also the waterfall cutscene with Lucrecia in FF7, which clearly implies that what Shinra and Hojo did to Sephiroth was nothing short of abuse... And because of that, you can watch and understand the circumstances that led him to his fall - but obviously not his posterior aims); there's the fact that Sephiroth is the person who most affected Cloud throughout his life, that Cloud is the one who can keep Sephiroth grounded in humanity (as we see in AC), that they share a lot of personality traits, that they were the two people in the whole planet who suffered through the same treatment under Hojo's scrutiny and thus the only ones who can vaguely know what it means to feel as if you're not human... I think those are the relations between the two that would lead them to develop a silent and deep understanding of each other in some sort of reconciliation scenario. I think the irony of them getting together is a great one. But of course my interpretation of them can be different from yours

Edgar x Terra - not much to say here other than I absolutely adore both characters, and think that it would be great if they ended up together.

Other couples I like: CloudxTerra (now this is an awesome fanon couple), KujaxGarnet, LarsaxPenelo, RudexTifa, SephxZack... And SeiferxZell for the lulz.
