Love it or loathe it?

I love it Id do fancy dress every night out if I could, I dont get the opportunity to get dressed up often enough

I have a fancy dress night out planned for mid next month and I well can't wait, ebay is the way forward for fancy dress, although I have issue with finding things that fit It's for no other reason than we are going out to Blackpool and staying over night, as soon as fancy dress was brought up, I was all over the idea, wasnt to keen on the theme 'emergency services' Its about the only theme of all brought up I wasnt keen on, but I have my army outfit all sorted now (I know I know) all I need is me step dad to get me some of his army accessories and Im all set

Fancy dress can be quite funny. For comic relief at college it was a fancy dress day and even some teachers got into the spirit.

Although that one guy who dressed up in this really fantastic Captain America costume should have realized that skin tight clothes and big stomach don't go together

I like looking at other people in fancy dress, since it can be really amazing, or really hilarious. But I'm not too keen on it myself. Too much hard work xD

Id love to have gone to work in fancy dress, I walked around with wings on one day for the hell of it....and had my fairy dress on for abit coz id picked it up from the post office that morning

Everyone I know is boring though, I was liek WE COULD DO IT FOR CHARITY

But alas, they were all like, I'd feel stupid, If we are ALL doing it, how could you feel stupid, and its FUN, miserable gets

I think fancy dress for charity is always a fun idea, especially if you have a load of competitive people and you see who gets the best costume.

I like Halloween for dressing up though. I was Darth Vader this one time, and it was totally awesome. I like capes. I'd go around in capes all the time if it wouldn't look stupid

Hahahaha, going around day to day life with a cape would be brilliant, i seriously WOULD wear fancy dress everyday if I could get away with it/not get locked up, Imagine me taking ellie to school dressed as Darth Vader, that would be beyond epic xD

I love Fancy Dress!!!

If I could wear it to every party I went to I would. XD Well...most. XD

The only thing that holds me back is the cost of the costumes. The only place around here that has them, is Naughty But Nice and Bras N' Things.

The rarely ever fit me and are like $250 a piece!

I would never buy over the internet, because I would hate to buy something that didn't fit or just didn't look the same when I received it. =/

Lately I've been improvising. XD

The last costume I made was the Goddess one for my ex-mates 21st just this February gone.

Last night was meant to be a Fancy Dress party for my other mates 21st but I couldn't be arsed because I was sick and just wanted to be in my warm comfy clothes.

I love it.

Only ever done it once in my adult life.... And that was recently.. last October for Halloween. I went as a pirate

I was scared at first, but then when I saw everyone else dressed up I just thought "screw it", so I went and had an awesome time. It felt really good to dress up, and I think I'll take any opportunity I have now to dress up as something.

Next time I'll take a bit more time with the costume though. The Pirate costume was a last minuite decision, and not that well done, but it still did the job.


Before that I can only remember one other time. And that was during a charity day of somekind at Middle School (Children In Need perhaps?). I went dressed as Laguna... but without the long hair. I did however have a plastic machine gun, and all the other clothes were similar, so it was pretty win otherwise. .


But yeah, definately full of win, fancy dress is... I want to be inventiv next time and go as something really weird and awesome, but I dunno when the opportunity will come again.

I dunno... I never have a reason to do anything in fancy dress. I suppose there was the Halloween disco but it was so last minute and I couldn't think of anything to dress up as so I just didn't go. I can't think of anything that I could dress up as and not look ridiculous. Most female fancy dress costumes are really whorish tarty stuff which is.. well, not me.
