Fame or fortune?

Okay, we've all heard about 'fame AND fortune' but which of the two would you rather have if you could only have one?

Fame OR fortune?

Remember, you can be famous but not rich (which is what I mean by fortune ), and rich without being famous.

I would choose fortune. I hate being in the spotlight all the time, and I've heard stories about how fame gets into your head if you're not careful.

Without a doubt, fortune.

I would always love to be independently wealthy and not have to worry about making ends meet at times.

*random* We all know money can't buy happiness, but it sure can make life a WHOLE lot easier.

Fame... Meh, I could honestly care less about it.

Fortune for me. While I love being the center of things I just want money so I can buy what I want. =D. SO, therefore Fortune is just fine.

Wheel of fortune? Fortune cookies? Anything that deals with fortune, I like. xD Sadly, my wheel of fortune isn't exactly great. And my fortune cookies never come true. Oh well, what can you expect, right? Life isn't easy.

I never really cared much for fame. I do believe that once you get a taste of it, you lose a part of yourself as you make your way up - that is, like Warboune stated, if you're not careful. I don't need fame in life in order to be happy or rich. Sure, that's the easiest way to get richer, but I'd rather work for it the hard way and lead what you would call a "normal life."

Or well, if I'm really supposed to live life and not have fortune involved, then that's fine too. As long as I keep my dignity intact and don't make the wrong decisions in life, then I'm satisfied, fortune or no fortune.

Fortune without a doubt. I dont think i could stand being in in newspapers, magazines everyday, every little thing i do being detailed by some reporter....its a scary thought.
Id happily take the money and be on my way

Fortune - as people have already said, you can have the money and with none of the bother that comes with fame. I'm far happier being in the background.

I would much rather have furtune than fame. With fortune I could live how I wanna live, and that includes not being in the limelight. I don't have very many friends and I like to keep it that way. There are very few people that I would call a tr00 freind. I have some acquantances as well. I certainly don't want people I don't know to know me. So fortune all the way.

Fortune...money is always useful to have. Fame can become a pain in the arse, as I've heard...

But neither of those things make me happy.

Fortune. Fame might not always be good, so I'll take my safety deposit and buy an exotic car, a mansion, a huge swimming pool, an indoor basketball court, and summer resorts worldwide.

Fortune, as it has all the good points without any of the bad points that come from Fame. id be able to buy what i wanted and do whatever i wanted without worrying about the papparazzi the whole time.

Fortune, I would go crazy if I was famous. I would not stand people bothering me and the press harassing me.

With Fortune, you don't need a job! You can play video games all day without worrying about not having enough money to pay for any house/rent bills.
