Fabula Nova Crystallis-Final Fantasy XIII

I'm not really a person who gets angry at the slightest thing.........But I was just wondering why is the Final Fantasy XIII section labelled "Final Fantasy XIII",when there is two sub forums of agito XIII and versus XIII which are two COMPLETELY different games neither a spin-off or prequel.

I mean Final fantasy XIII is a completely seperate game to agito and versus........so when I click on a section named Final Fantasy XIII I kinda expect the page to come up with FFXIII threads,a help booth,spoiler discussion spin off threads (if there was one) etc.

I'm not asking for a whole new section for agito and versus.......I'm just saying why not rename the section Fabula Nova Crystallis (sounds better too :)).

plus other games within the fabula nova crystallis maybe announced too.......and I'm sure when FFXIII versus and agito get released it's not gonna be a game for people who've played FFXIII........like Crisis core,FFX-2,FFXII revenant wings etc which was for FFVII,FFX and FFXII players <--------- and these games are under the FFVII,FFX and FFXII sections rightfully because there a spin-off. Versus and agito isn't a spin-off to FFXIII so I don't see why it should be under the Final Fantasy XIII.
 
Versus XIII and Agito XIII are part of the compilation but they all bear the name XIII. I don't really see a problem with the name. We have Tactics and Vagrant Story under the FF XII section and they aren't necessarily spin-offs or direct prequels/sequels. They just take place in the same world.
 
Well really it is not a problem at all. They all have XIII in their names so definately not a problem. Yeah other games might come to Fabula Novalis but they would just be sub forums under XIII. It is the same case with FF VII it isnt called FF VII compilation or something like that.

Yeah but having the number "XIII" doesn't really mean it has to be classed under the game FFXIII.........FFXIII agito & versus are both separate games, are they just meant to be a little sub-forum.

and NOTHING links agito and versus with xiii other than the crystal theme.......but if you say thats good enough to class it under FFXIII you might as well class FFII,FFIV and FFIII under it as well since they have a crystal connection too.
 
I said they have XIII in the name. FF Versus XIII and FF Agito XIII. And they are clearly linked to XIII through themes whereas the earlier FF games are not. Everyone knows they're in a compilation together. They don't need their own forum.

Not asking for their own forum just saying to rename the Final Fantasy XIII section Fabula Nova Crystallis........Just like you changed Final fantasy XI to final fantasy online.

I know the earlier FF games are not linked to FFXIII........but the ONLY connection between XIII,Versus XIII and agito XIII is the "vague crystal theme" just like Nomura stated nothing else..........and I was referring to the other FF games because they had a crystal theme too. if I was to compare FFXIII to versus and agito the only simalarity would be they both have a crystal theme..........and if I was to compare FFIV with FFXII the only similarity woud have to be again the crystal theme.

And the full name of the compilation if Fabula Novae Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII. So they are all still under the FF XIII label.

Honestly, right now neither section has that much action anyway so I think they're fine where they are. Perhaps once Square actually releases the other two games, some time in 2015, we can rearrange the section to suit each game's needs.

But I do feel versus and agito are kinda under-represented because of the name of the section Final Fantasy XIII..........

But you do have a point agito and versus aint been released as of yet.

oh and 2015 not sure about that release date :hmmm:
 
It'll probably be closer to 2018 at this rate. :wacky:

But yeah, we didn't even rename FF Online until after FF XIV was released. Until then, XIV was a subforum of XI.

It's just easier to leave it that way since right now, the sections aren't all that popular. There may be some rearranging closer to release dates as activity warrants though. :lew:
 
Why not name it Fabula Nova Crystallis at least........leaving out FFXIII it doesn't make much difference and plus if people want to refer to all three games as a whole they'll say Fabula Nova Crystallis not Fabula Nova Crystallis Final fantasy XIII.
 
I think they're more likely to just say the FF XIII games or XIII compilation. Fabula Nova Crystallis is a mouthful. :ohoho:

Edit: But I'll bring it up in HQ and see what everyone else thinks.
