hey found lots of interesting rumours bwt FF7 at http://www.ff7citadel.com/rumors/r_misc.shtml, fort id share them with you as some of them are quite strange and funny

1. Space Travel
It's been rumored you can fly in space (besides when retrieving the Huge Materia from the Shinra rocket). Go to Midgar on disk 3, infiltrate the Shinra HQ again, and you'll find a new level in the elevator. This elevator will take you to a secret location where a test Shinra rocket is located. Board it, and fly in space. This sounds dubious as there's no known way of re-entering the Shinra HQ on disk 3.

2. Zack
Apparently when Cloud reaches Level 99, there is a small chance his hair will turn black and he'll morph into Zack.

3. Red XIII
It's also been suggested when Red XIII reaches Level 99, his tail will catch alight.

4. Watching the 'Loveless' Play
Yes, there is a rumor that says you can watch the 'Loveless' play. Remember the empty chest in the Corel Prison? Apparently there should be a ticket inside there. Find it, return to the Gold Saucer and visit the theatre. With the ticket, you can then watch the 'Loveless' play.

5. 1/35 Soldier Ornaments
It is alleged if you collect twelve 1/35 soldiers and buy the house at Costa Del Sol, you can display these soldiers on a window sill as house ornaments.

6. 1/35 Soldier Bonus
If you obtain twelve 1/35 soldiers and play the strategy game at Fort Condor, you will receive an extra soldier unit to use.

7. Lara Croft Rumor
T. Newman professes Tomb Raider starlet Lara Croft is obtainable in Final Fantasy VII. He believes in breeding two gold chocobos and improving them to S Class. Once doing so, beat Joe twelve times and he will be replaced by a new rider. Beat the rider three times, and you will receive the item with no name. With Tifa in your party, leave the Gold Saucer and Tifa will talk about the mysterious item. Show her the item, and the screen will go blank. When vision returns, Tifa will transform into Lara Croft. Mr. Newman reckons her gun can kill any monster first shot. Heh, somehow I don't think so...

8. Tifa Getting Killed
Contributor Vanskiver alleges Tifa can be killed by Sephiroth instead of Aeris. Be mean to Tifa, and when Aeris is about to die, Tifa will appear and push Aeris out of Sephiroth's way. Tifa will be hit instead.

9. Super Sweeper
Adverb suggests the Super Sweeper can be used to repair the Tiny Bronco. Enter Junon with Cid in your party, and talk to the inhabitants three times. Speak to the old man adjacent the beach a few times, and Cid will realise he can use the Super Sweeper to fix the Tiny Bronco. Revisit Rocket Town and Cid will repair the vehicle.

10. Aeris' Spirit
Visitor Eecetera@aol.com believes Aeris' spirit can return in the Midgar church. To stand next to Aeris after her death, you must be as nice to her as possible. Obtain the key to Midgar's Sector 5 and Aeris' spirit will appear in the church. Quickly run up to it, and the spirit will disappear to re-emerge adjacent the two children. You can then be next to her. Eecetera@aol.com isn't sure if this spirit sighting is involved with a possible resurrection process, but if this rumor is true, it's very likely.

Note: There is a known glitch in FFVII that causes Aeris to be seen in the church after her death. I don't know if this rumor arose from the presence of this glitch, but it's likely. See Ghost in the Church for further information as well as screenshots.

11. Aire Tam Storm
Eecetera@aol.com reckons Emerald Weapon's Aire Tam Storm attack can be weakened. This is achieved by minimalising the number of materia equipped. Damage to a character is determined by the amount of materia a character is holding, multiplied by 1111. For example, a character equipped with five materia will receive 5555 HP damage.

Note: This rumor is TRUE, as confirmed by numerous sources.

12. Hentai Ending
Even though a hentai ending sounds far-fetched, latiz@angelfire.com believes it is possible. Beat Sephiroth fifteen times in different files, and you can watch a hentai sequence between Cloud and Tifa after the credits. Considering the damage Squaresoft will receive over such an ending, I must seriously doubt this rumor.

13. Ruby Weapon Weakness
Eecetera@aol.com alleges there is a secret weakness to Ruby Weapon. To kill the Weapon easily, simply use fifty five Phoenix Downs on it. Ruby Weapon will die instantly.

14. Seaplane
It's been rumored a seaplane is available as a vehicle. Luminous informs us on a rare occassion, when you're in lower Junon and talking to the elevator guard, he'll ask for your reasons for entering Junon. After the conversation, a battle will shortly ensue and you'll win a key. Proceed to Upper Junon and the underwater reactor. The key will open the reactor's door, allowing you access. Enter the submarine dock, and there will be a door previously non-existant. Inside will be an unnamed item. Retrieve it, and travel to Costa del Sol. Converse with the seaplane owner inside the resort town, and he'll trade his plane for the item. The seaplane can land on any depth of water, and fly like the Highwind. Very interesting...

15. Saving Aeris
In true rumor tradition, there is yet another way of saving Aeris. Eecetera@aol.com says to keep Aeris alive, you must have each character, including Yuffie and Vincent, at level 99. Before Aeris dies, Cloud will confront Sephiroth himself and she will live.

16. Highwind / Tiny Bronco
Eecetera@aol.com suggests the Tiny Bronco can be retrieved in exchange for the Highwind. Have twelve 1/35 Soldiers and a Super Sweeper in Fort Condor's final battle, and talk to the old man within the fort. He will take the items and Highwind for the Tiny Bronco. And yes, the Tiny Bronco will indeed fly, so the rumor says.

17. Killing Priscilla
Yep, another rumor posted by Eecetera@aol.com. He suggests Priscilla, the little girl in Junon, can be killed in the game. To kill Priscilla, you must not save her after killing the flying boss. When resuscitating Priscilla, breathe as little as possible. As soon as you press square, release immediatelly so she will barely get air. After several resuscitation attempts, Priscilla will die. Eecetera@aol.com reckons this will alter the course of the game dramatically. As to what extent the alteration makes is unknown.

18. Limit Break Special
Now, something impossible... rumor contributor Eecetera@aol.com alleges if you only use limit breaks to attack enemies, you will see a password at the end of the game allowing you to play as a weapon seller. The game would definitely be interesting if the main character is replaced. However, is anyone willing to sacrifice a month to actually test this rumor out?

Thats 100% correct, Thats how I first beat Emerald WEAPON, give Cloud X5 Materia only and he deals 5555HP Damage with Air Tam Storm.

Some rumours are totally crazy, yet some would be awesome if they were made. There are a couple of Rumours I found about FFVI. Most were totally crazy, yet I tried a few.

Ok what the hell a hentai sequence between cloud and Tifa? When did this happen? Aerith not dieing and Tifa yes ok seriously these rumours I believe are fake and wtf lara croft are you just saying Tifa and Croft both have big balloons if so I know what your saying but sorry I believe this is truly fake. Cloud morphing into Zack come on?

Rumor four sounds pretty interesting, but how can you "find the ticket" if its suppost to be in the empty chest. It would be cool to see it though. :)

lool a hentai ending hahaha as if. You really gotta wonder who makes some of these up lol or who believes them.

my love for yuna - of course they are fake ;)

i dnt know, i read them on a website and decided to post it here, id say all of them but 1 areentirely fake and made up my some crazy people who were high or drunk or something, i found it quite funny tho

Lol @ the hentai.

However, I've heard several people say that Aeris's ghost does indeed show up in the church. Apparently it's just a glitch.

Some of these are just silly, though. They people who come up with them are probably just trying to get an argument started or something. Really, anyone can come up with this stuff.

I ought to go around saying that you can turn Red XII can be turned into Simba. :P

That's what a rumour means....
Not proven. Possibly fake. Not meant to be taken seriously. Etc. etc.

1)theres no way to get into the Shin-ra HQ in disk 3 because, it was pretty much wasted by Diamond WEAPON. the only way you can get into the HQ is through the debug room or a cheat device, and even with the sheat device the game pretty much crashes, and the debug way puts you in a wall where you can't move.

2)No. Just...no. Zack is dead, and no amount of leveling will bring him back. That rumor earns the official stamp of FAIL. Once again, the only way to get Zack in the game at all is to cheat your pixels off, and it will probably corrupt your data.

3)Um....no. If you watch the AMV in the 1st disk with the escape from the Shin-ra building, his tail is already alight, but it never happens during real-time game play.

4)Not true, there is no ticket in the prison, the chest in the bottom of the well was put in place over other junk data, and had no real purpose, also, there is nothing happening in the theatre at the Gold Saucer after the 'date' sequence.

5) 100% true, the only problem is finding all 12.

6) Not true, there is no use for the 1/35 SOLDIER outside of them being a display item, just like the Masamune blade you get from the roller-coaster thing at the GS.

7) FACEPALM! Nuff said.

8) Behold the rare, 2XFACEPALM! This is ridiculous, Aerith dying is a planned event and having Tifa die in her place is really just stupid to even suggest.

9) Dear god. No. No. No. the supersweeper doesnt have any use in the game, most people think its meant to be a new weapon in the Condor reactor battles, but its just a display item.

10)Just a glitch, and the 'spirit' disappears the second you get too close or even take more then 2 step into the church. No ressurection here people.

11)100%, Emerald WEAPON uses this attack and it does deal damage equel to the number of materia you have equipped...trust me, after finding out the damn attack dealt like 9999 every time.

12) Ok, if you believe that rumor you need to get your head examined. That gets an automatic PHAIL!

13) No. If Ruby WEAPON was really that easy to beat, then thousands of people wouldnt be scratching their heads in frustration when thinking of how to beat him.

14)No. By that point in the game, you have the airship so theres no need to have to land on water anymore, and theres the sea-chocobo for that. And I've tested it, and its false.

15)Once again, no. Aerith dying is scripted and cannot be changed or altered except by cheat device. No. Fail. Facepalm.

16)No. The tiny bronco is lost after the City of the Ancients. The ship is not retrivable after that, and even if it were true, you have the freakin Highwind, why would you want a tiny arse-ship?

17)This is true to some extent. In the game if you try to do as little as possible, you will be prompted by her grandpa to try again, but hes really just telling you to, you dont have a choice, and you will not be able to advance unless you do it right.

18)No, Fail. Nuff said.

The citidel has some good rumors, but all of them fall to logic and basic knowledge of the game. Sorry to burst your bubble, but no.

I'm not bothering quoting the whole post but here is my answers.

1 - You can't get in... and I avoid that evil Debug room with the giant Aerith... BUT - you can re-enter sector 5 if you retrieve a 'key to sector 5' by excavating in Bone Village as soon as you are able to go on your own in Disk 2 or later, and get Tifa's Ultimate Weapon. I agree with Ancient

I can debunk number 2 - I've had Cloud (and everyone else) at level 99 before going to the Temple of the Ancients. I agree with Ancient

Rumor number 3, for the same reasons as rumor number 2. I agree with Ancient

Rumors 5 and 6 eh? I may try that since it's not outrageous or stupid or screws up the actual story. As of this time, I've considered them as totally 'useless' Never Tried It

Lara Croft for rumor number 7? No 'effin way! This solely due to the fact that the FF7 series is owned by one company and Laura Croft (character) is owned by another company. If it was true, then we would be hearing something about a lawsuit years ago. I agree with Ancient

8 - Doesn't work. But with a gameshark, you can keep Aerith in your party and still has active dialog in Wutai if you haven't been in the area already. But if you go in other areas, the PSX will display an error message and you have to pretty much 'reboot' it. I agree with Ancient

9 - Never heard of that one. ?

10 - About the 'glitch' I'm cool with that. It's pretty much an 'outtake' that became an 'intake' (ex. Jaws - "We need a bigger boat" - it was not in the script) - Although when you can go back to the Church even with Aerith in tow you can see it anyway and talk to the children there. I agree with Ancient

11 - It reminds me of a random Cait Sith limit (tho if you get two Cait Sith and a Bar - everyone dies, or all three Cait Sith - instant win) But as long as you have the Underwater Materia, then it's just an ordinary option boss fight. Just equip normally plus that rare materia. -- pretty much, if it's true, you don't need it. Never Tried It

12 - Erm, no. But the ending does not have Yuffie or Vincent since they are hidden/optional playable characters. In DC you learn where they are at the same time. I agree with Ancient

13 - SCREW THAT! Max out one char (lvl 80-plus bit and nice materia - I've done it before at that level) Kill two of the other characters. I like Using [W-Summon(max)/Knights of the Round (max), and [Final Attack (max)/Revive (max)] with [X-Item - Elixir] and for icing on the cake get a second set of said materia... since every time I use the W-Summon, I will die. (over and over) (my personal technique) I agree with Ancient

14 - never tried it and I'm not buying it. I agree with Ancient

15 - Because of reason 2 and 3, it still didn't happen. I agree with Ancient

16 - Pfft... You get both during disk two. You get the Tiny Bronco when Cid joins your party and then The Highwind when Cloud leaves the party for a brief time (i.e. goes missing) ---- THERE ARE SOME AREAS where the Highwind cannot land and THERE ARE OTHER AREAS where the water is too deep for the Tiny Bronco can't go. I disagree with Ancient

17 - "As to what extent the alteration makes is unknown"? Again, I'm not buying it. In computer programming terms, you will not pass until the requirements are met and that's Priscilla waking up. I agree with Ancient

18 - Erm, no. Sure you will build / learn your limit breaks faster by using and defeating your enemies with them - which I prefer using a hyper to deliberately cause the buff/debuff of 'Fury' on them - Their accuracy is drastically reduced, but their limit gage fills up insanely fast. On level 1 or 2 you can milk it up to fill it 2 or 3 times. (my personal technique) I agree with Ancient

I'm sorry to ask: Who the hell is "Eecetera@aol.com"? I think that a lot of this is unfounded. Where did they get this information?

BUT... here is one thing that I do from time to time for personal amusement:

You can deliberately get Cloud airsick when you can return to Gold Saucer for enjoyment and go on that roller coaster ride over and over... eventually he will bend of and say "Ugh..." ^^;

Actually number 5 is false because there isn't enough 1/35 Soldiers to find to make up the set. May have been the items original use before SS had to cut n'chop bit's of the game out to make it's deadlines but otherwise no.

And about the Aerith 'glitch'. It's not actually a 'glitch' but actually a part of the game intended to be stumbled upon by thos who bother checking everything out. If it was a glitch then the 2 kids wouldn't have the dialog that they do no?

And killing Ruby WEAPON 'instantly' using 'Fifty Five Phoenix Downs'? Mega lolz.

The people are just really stupid because there just trying to make people do these things so they could be tricked and be like omg I did that for nothing.

I read those not to long ago, I an't remember what I was looking for, but most of them made me rooffle and wonder who comes up wiht these things

Although, I do have the urge to go buy that Shinra mansion ow :wacky:

Also, can't you get those soldiers as a rollercoaster award in the Gold Saucer......? I never did get all of them. Oh and regarding them, I also heard somewhere you can use them in battle..... haha

Maybe so about this Aerith 'glitch' I personally don't care either way. But I did find it kinda odd that as soon as you get away from Reno with Aerith, you can immediately return and see the same thing (and even talk to the kids there, but do not acknowledge Aerith who is with you and she doesn't say anything to the kids either)

Ah yes, now that is a glitch. I've heared of it happening but its never happened for me at all. The kids are there but the Aerith 'ghost' wasn't. I've never got her to re-appear until I get the key from Bone Village and go back.

Do you have the PSX version that was released on the first run, or as a 'greatest hits' or the PC version --- The latter two, from what I have been told (so don't quote me on this) had major corrections made... most noticeably, dialogue translations.

All I know very well is the PSX version

I'm amazed that after all these years, people still want to find a way around Aerith's death. They're even willing to go so far as to say Tifa will push her out of Sephie's way :ffs: Everyone should know by now that Aerith's death was meant to happen and there is no way around it.

Pretty funny rumors for the most part though, especially that Tomb Raider one :wacky:

HAHA good laugh man. Off course these are fake. I mean come on. Even if I didn't know the game, I'd still wont believe it.

Some of those I find too funny to even be mentioned. Who comes up with this stuff?

Mine is a Platinum copy. Maybe they fixed it then.

Doubt they changed the dialog. Can't see it being any worse than whats on mine :wacky:
