Aw no, c'mon guys, is this great RP already slowly starting to die? We need to keep it strong! >_< I'm kinda counting on this to go on for a good while, so it would be really good if it kept going, it's gone like a day without a single new post in it. xP
 
Yeah, I just posted in the League of Roleplayers thread commenting on that, thinking I bet it is because of 'all of this Survivor crap'. xP How long does it go on for...?
 
Anyone know who we are missing? Because imo F them and F their little game... I am not particularly interesting in waiting for them...
 
Same here, minus usage of the "f", at least it wasn't the full word though. =P The ones I know of are Xe (Oblivion_XIII), who is Zac Efron, and Cardiac Kid, who is Nick Jonas. :hmmm: This is starting to aggravate me...over another week of this? -_-
 
Do not insult Survivor please. I happen to be one of the coordinators and it's something this forum does every year. You should learn a little patience and wait. "F their little game?" That little game is run by the admin and three other staff members. It's not just some little game they've decided to do on their own accord. We have stated before that RP will slow down. It always does during survivor, but it bounces right back afterwards.


Roleplayers inside Survivor are:

Subeinu/svein
Mitsuru/Diar
Cardiac Kid
Xe/Oblivion
Rincewind/Ringo

There are a couple of others, including the RP mod, CassinoChips but I believe they're the main ones being waited on.

There's only a weekish left of the competition.
 
well there are still a few of us rp-ersd that arent in survivor and even if i was i would make it a habit to post in my rps too. unless being in survivor bars them from everything else happening...
 
I have nothing against survivor, but for the record i do have something against people starting something and then quitting half way through for something else which is "more shiney" if you catch my drift... I applaud them for playing a forum game i might have joined myself if i had been online before startups closed...

But yeah i would have made allowances for the rpgs i was in to keep going without me...

Survivor happens around the same time every year. We don't shift it around just because a couple of members are in the middle of something else.

They took part because Survivor is something to do with others who you might not usually integrate with.

Besides, Josh doesn't seem to have any issue with the waiting. It's not going to be all THAT much longer. No-one is stopping anyone from posting though some of the Survivor RPers are needed to move a mission along and I know I'm waiting for Cardiac to reply to Squee.

What's worse than being out here waiting for them to reply, is being IN THERE, UNABLE to reply. Believe me, they all want to RP but they signed up to Survivor and they're sticking it out. I've been there, stuck in Survivor knowing people were waiting on me to RP post and all I could do was apologize for keeping them waiting. It's a HELL of a lot worse than being stuck out here waiting. =/

Apologies, I just don't see where it has to be so much more than just another forum game, it is basically Hurt & Heal but it also screws with participants' accounts. Name, avatar, access... Maybe it is just me, but it seems very cruel to keep many members from posting in pretty much any section of the forums, just because they'd like to take part in this "Survivor" game. :|

It's not just for 'bragging rights'

It's a competition THEY SIGN UP to take part in. They know full well that in getting in, they won't have access to any other part of the forum for two weeks.

they do it to take part in games and tasks with fellow members.

And fyi, the name change thing has only been used this year.

If you don't like it, no-one is telling you to take part in it, but they wanted to.

I suggest you stop insulting Survivor and when it comes down to it, stop trying to make digs at those who HAVE decided to take part.

Survivor brings members together who may not usually interact. It brings in fun for those members and its great for the forum as a whole. If you can't understand that, it isn't the coordinators fault, nor those that play it.

It's a GAME. Something we do for the forum and it comes back each year by popular demand.
 
I should think it be a lot more trouble to change every entrant's usernames, too. I just think that isn't the best addition to the game. ^^;

If I am wise, I'll shut up real soon, so I will, but I had to get this off my chest... And I don't mean any offense to anyone taking part in it, I just spoke my mind, I haven't had anything to do and bored half to death, gotta do something...

But I'll make a point of changing to doing something other than complaining about Survivor...grin and bare it I shall, like some awful advice a lazy doctor once gave my ill father. '<_<

Is Sophia someplace Amane can get to her?

I'm trying to think of someplace I can bring Amane in and I'm stumped atm. XD
 
Sophia is on the way to the Cafeteria from Mr. Krego's classroom, along with Drachon's character Ravona, who she is chatting with along the way, so yeah, going to be getting to the Cafeteria before too many posts, another post or two between me and Drachon should do it.

One or two combined, not each. ;) It isn't -that- far to the Cafeteria. xD

Text message? Erm...what, like through a cell phone type thing or something? Sophia doesn't keep one on her, for obvious reasons. xP

Sorry if sounded a bit dumb...probably referring more of getting to a computer and texting some message, perhaps?
 
Well as i wrote in my second to last post if you don't have a cellphone (or didn't have one when you were in class) I'll just send the NPCs around you a text and hope one of them tells you...

That said a ringing phone is one of the hardest things to ignore and most people would pass the message i think, at least i am pretty sure i would...

Gotta love having some very fancy technology availible;)
