Drugs your views?

I've been a pot head for 5 years now and i say I'm addicted, i mean its not as bad as my addiction to cigarettes, but if i don't have a joint at least once a day i get edgy...

now as for hard drugs, i chose to dabble into this vice myself, and i mean yeah you do feel the best you've ever felt when you high on coke or e but, its too scary how easy it is to get caught up in the false feeling, and get trapped by it....that's why its only ever couple of months that i indulge myself...nowadays anyways...
 
Personally I dont drink or use drugs, but that is a personal choice not a rule I would impose on others.

I support the legalisation of all drugs, if people want to use them then it is their choice. More education on the negative effects of drugs and less punishment for carrying and dealing would be better.

Ironically, you are wrong (about the marijuana, at least :P)

Obviously, all forms of non-medical drugs will eventually be made illegal SOMEDAY (this includes cigarettes), though it will probably be a hell of a fight (just look what happened with slavery).
 
It really depends on the kind of person you are when it comes to drugs, in my opinion. I know some people who have ruined their lives over it because once they get into it, thats all they want to do. So they start getting really lazy, and drop out of school, lose their job (if they had one to begin with), and just live in their mother's basement all their lives doing drugs and watching tv.

I'm not sure how often that happens, but I personally do know a couple people that have turned out that way.

Then there's your average druggie who just does them every once in a while, and is still able to lead a fully functional life, and have a stable career, and family and all that jazz.

And yes, Ganymede, it is very possible to become addicted to both. This is a tad off topic, but I know some people who I would say are addicted to video games. The people who go home and do nothing but play video games from the time they get out of school/work, to the time they go to bed are probably addicted.

So I guess it all depends on how you personally handle them, and when you know enough is enough.

Hm well i dont do drugs and i'm against it.
Yes i smoke Cigaretts and i like to drink a nice glass of Wine,but i dont need both.
I cut smoking 2 times both time i was pregnat and i stardet again after giving my kids milk.I like smoking but i dont need it.
A glass of good wine dont harm no one.
My father was an Alkoholic and i shure learnd my lesson out of it.
I hope my kids will never do any drugs,because after i wouldent know what to do.

3 Years ago a old school friend of mine died because of an overdoses and i'll never forget her.It's to bad that this stuff islegal in some countrys.Sometimes it seems that some high people cares more about wars than about that things.
 
im 18 and have never even thought about taking drugs or smoking. but i do drink. i dont see anything wrong with taking drugs or smoking becasue thats your choice what i have a problem with is people trying to force other people into taking them through peer preassure or otherwise. however yesterday i saw a 8 year old standing there smoking with her mum and i thought that was wrong.

I've never smoked in front of my kids,never i dont want them to smoke with me.If i like to smoke as a parent then you've to leave go out get a walk and smoke like a train if you want but not infront of kids.
 
I don't really think Drugs are all that bad....i mean the minor ones atleast. I think marijuana should at least be allowed legal because well it just makes people lazy and really calm and how dangerous could those people be.
 
Not all of them are that bad. And if someone wants to mess up there life I'd just go ahead and let them. You can try to convince them all you want but it's ultimately their decision.

Marijuana kills Brain cells and normally stupid people use it so it really didn't matter in the first place xD.

What makes me laugh is when people say pot is a dangerous drug. Pot makes you lazier then usual and theres no way you can be a harm to others when you're completely zoned out on the chair. Of course its the more serious drugs such as crack, dope, etc that are the ones that should stay illegal. But pot does have its uses. It is a painkiller!

Ive smoked pot once and I hated it because I had no control over myself, it was like an out of body experince. I was laughing at things I didnt find funny and that un-nerved me.

Ultimately psychotic, perhaps? Jesus, marijuana is horiffically addictive, yet no one seems to want to acknowledge that as a genuine fact.

I can't say I'd agree with any substance becoming legal, but I have taken marijuana... twice now. I don't hate myself for it, nor am I addicted. It was pretty good at the time... but considering I was pretty drunk, it was a terrible thing to take. xD Interesting sensation though. I doubt I'll be doing it again in a hurry.

Because it isn't a fact. Find me a citation where marijuana is physically addictive. People saying that pot is addicting is like saying that sex is addicting. It feels good, and it doesn't really hurt anyone. Just like sex.

If people REALLY wanted to stop, they could. Most people who want to quit but can't are weak-willed individuals that give people who occasionally partake in the smoking of marijuana a bad name.

Marijuana was made illegal solely because America had a total hatred towards black people in the 30's and 40's. If white people smoked as much as they drank back then when they went back on the Prohibition, it would be legal today. Guaranteed. It is the nations number 1 cash crop. With our shitty economy, we should legalize and tax the hell out of it.

I have never taken drugs before ( unless you call drinking a drug which then yes i have ) and i dont think the should be legalized at all, we have to many hippe pot heads running around now we dont need more
