What is your dream school, if you have one?
And for the members who are actually in college, what was your dream school/university when you were growing up and why?

Mine would have to be either Boston U, I've seen some pics and am planning to go for a trip this summer.
Actually, I'm looking at all good engineering schools, especially in California.

Foreign schools can be included too!
In fact, I'd much rather go to a foreign country to study.
Like Cambridge, for instance, in the UK.

food i can eat (my current school has bad food in my opinion there is hardly anything eatable there) more subjects i can learn(i only have basic ones and a few others but i want to learn history which i am great at) and funner teachers

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I was in constant e-mail contact with them my senior year of high school, discussing fee's grades, etc, and they said they would accept me as soon as I mailed out the application. The only problem was, I let the application sit on my desk...forever; on purpose.

The reason I never sent it in was because I had just started dating a girl I had tried to date for 4-5 years and I didn't want to be a part from here in the long run once Fall came around. Worst decision of my life. :/

I remember when I was sooo much younger (around 7 maybe) and didn't know any better, I told everyone, "I'm going to Harvard University and be an artist! ^_^ ) ...Boy was I a dumb kid. -.-

Anyway, dream college...don't have one yet. I really wanna get my general education out of the way first by going to a community college (Riverside Community College, possibly) when I go back to Cali, then transfer to a Uni later. I currently wanna pursue a career for Interior Designing, so I still have to do some research of what Uni offers for that particular one.

LMAO! :P

I used to think that too, until I found out. =\
Every single one of my friends told me that, sad.
I actually thought it was like one of those Oriental colleges that had like every single major in it, boy was I wrong.

A single community college can cost much more than schools back home, don'cha think? ;)

Well I'm finally back in school and even now, I still don't know what my dream school is. I've came to the conclusion that I don't actually have any since first of all, I don't even know what I'm majoring in. I doubt I'd enter a Uni now though. I think I'll stick to community colleges - a much wiser move. Finally done 'dreaming'.

Tokyo University.

*drools*

That or, Cambridge or Oxford just for the sheer omgwut's you'd get for being in such a place. XD
Gotta be damned intelligent.

Although I'm in one of those "Gifted and Talented" programmes, for History, at college, and I'm being encouraged to apply for Oxford/Cambridge, I just won't bother - one girl around this area got like 11A* GCSEs and 7 A A-levels and didn't get accepted, so I'm not going to waste my time. I think I'll go to Durham University on Teeside. It's practically Durham, and it's near where I live and a few of my friends are going to the same Uni / doing the same course there, so it's much more practical ^^

I would love a university with a small campus and small classes. I figure that way I could actually get to know my professor which could only help my grades. Having forensics available as a major would be perfect too, since few schools offer it and it's my main area of interest for a career.
