Dream RPG Party

Who would be in your dream RPG party if you could use any Party member from any RPG ever created?

Mine:

Reid (Tales of Eternia)
Reid from ToE would be the main swordsman of my group, He is equipped with a lot of good sword skills and the power of Fibrill(In Game).

Rita (Tales of Vespuria)
Rita is a wierd scientist in ToV. She has a ton of amazing magic artes such as Meteor storm and Tidal wave and fights with a giant magic belt. Her magic pretty much makes ToV easy. She was always in my party for these reasons.

Jean (Lunar 2: Eternal Blue)
Jean is an AMAZING character, she starts out as a gypsy dancer running from her past but, at a certain point in the game she become the most powerful fighter in the game. She usually strikes first in any battle and her attacks do amazing Damage. She can also hold her Alchohol

Teddie (Persona 4)
What can I say about Teddie other than he is a stuffed bear found in a mysterious TV world. He is skilled in Ice Magic and Healing magic, while his attacks pack quite a punch. Also he uses bear puns... BEAR PUNS!

If you were to make your own dream team, who would be on it and why?
Also be sure to think realistic, most RPGs only offer Parties of 3-5 characters so thats how many should be in these, I don't want Parties of 100 characters.

 

[Ironman]

WOW, this is a great idea, Ummmmm it has made me think about every RPG i have played and who my favorite four Characters are.

Riku From Kingdom hearts 2 would be my main sword wielder because he is impresively amazing with his Keyblade (way to dawn) and has some pritty decent combo attacks.

Second would have to Be Garnet/Dagger from final fantasy 9. She is a good healer and also has awesum summons (such as Bahamut, Ark and Leviathan(sp)) also she is one of the more attractive FF characters.

Third to my party would be Reddas from FFXII, a physically strong character he has great Speed and intalect(sp) has good techniques as so he can hit all enemies including the flyers (telekenisis) also, every party requires a kickass looking guy with an awesum beard.

and for my fourth character i would have to say Vivi from FFIX, he is awesum with his black magic and is rather awesum character design. also he fills the party requirement of being mentally unstable, every party needs a mentally unstable character.

My 'dream RPG team' would probably include the villains from various franchises, most likely the following:

Sarah Kerrigan (Starcraft)

She's not from an RPG but I'd drag her epic character into one and make it the best-selling RPG of all time.

Magneto (X-Men)

What team of villains would be complete without Magneto, really?

Vegeta (Dragonball Z)

Again, not from an RPG, or a villain for that matter, but I'd put him into one and make him work with them so that the best team in the world is together.

Cortex [Crash Bandicoot]

Just to add some humour to the game.

1st:Tifa Lockheart-Leader of the team.

She's strong enough to be a leader.Plus she can Summon with the materia.
2nd:Beatrix(ffix)
To be attacker,don't forget you never get to beat her in the game.

3rd:Hildegard Valentine(Shadow Hearts:From the new World)
She can be 3 in one:Magic type,Supportive type(healing etc.)Attacker.

4th:Zidane(ffix)
To steal items and attack.

Or instead Yuri Volte Hyugafor attacks.What's better thna a character who can fuse with monsters and transform into 20 different types.

I'm gonna go with five because I believe in a nice well rounded party.

For a fighter/striker with some dimension, I would pick Cliff Fitter from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. I liked the game, and Cliff was the first and most stable way to deal loads of damage. He wasn't portrayed as a total blockhead, and wasn't dark and moody, which is refreshing.

As my thief/secondary striker, I would also have to pick Zidane from FFIX. I liked his concept, he was brattish, roguish and Tidus(FFX) and Vaan (FFXII) feel a little mirrored when compared. Zidane also packed an impressive punch and some of his weapons were wicked cool to look at, even in the days of the PSX.

For my black mage, I would have to pick Lulu from FFX. It's a personal choice, but that girl made me laugh from the moment I bought the game to the end of it. Oh, it's a wolf, let's rain fiery death on it. Oh, we are on a boat and it's inconvieniant to be here, lets inexpicably teleport to the shore, didn't I ever tell you I could do that? She's hot, she's powerful and she gives us all a reason to fear moogles.

For that little healing touch, I had to toss up between a few of my favourite white mages through the ages. It was a tough choice, but in the end I would have to pick Aerith. She's an interesting enough character, and pretty much every Limit Break she recieves does something profoundly fluffy for her and the party. She's not entirely useful in a fight, but if I wanted a paladin, I'd have asked for one.

Last but not least, you need an interesting character that fills a lot of gaps in your group and provides either comic relief or that little touch of individuality that comes with each gaming system. This one took some thinking, and I've played a lot of RPG's in my time. A lot of characters splash out and try to play the all-rounder, but only one game I've played gives you a character so wholely better than the rest of the party that by the time you get him, you wish you'd had an entire party of Elves. His name was Artea, and he was a character from Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (SNES). Blindingly quick, a potent spellcaster, able to use most weapons and armour, he kinda pointed at the gaping humies and laughed. It was great. He would round out my perfect RPG party.

Well there we have it. Cliff has loads of HP, Zidane and Artea are nice and rounded with Zidane with lots of technical options and Artea holding some black and white magic. Lulu blows things up and Aerith puts them back together again. Perfection in it's truest form.

He's really good, marvelous and kick ass, he also *coughkilledAerithcough*

3. Haseo (.hack//G.U)

he's really good, can use many weapons and his attacks are really cool not to forget he has an "Avatar"

4. Rydia (FFIV)

She's a summoner, can use powerful black magic and she's hot she's really good.
