My 360 is a piece of shmit. I let my buddy borrow my hard drive. Then today we walked to blockbuster, got a new game, put the hard drive in my 360 and find out ALL of my memory is corrupted. :stare: All that work for nothing. I think I'll get a PS3 instead of a piece of junk.

I'll have to concur with Pools, you're friend was the one to use it so should the blame not lie with him at some point? I mean yeah, Xbox360's don't particularly have a great reputation when it comes to them breaking but normally when it comes to corrupted data, somewhere down the line it's down to the owner not taking care of it or not doing as instructed at save intervals or w/e.

Yeah, I've taken my hard-drive out of my system tons of times and every last bit of memory on mine has always been top-notch.

I'm not saying it's not Microsoft's fault 100%, but I'd start to question what kind of care your friend demonstrated to it while it was in his hands. I know I've been wary to let friends borrow my possessions because I'll get them back with something broken off of it usually.

I know it wasn't his fault. I went over there like everyday practicaly and we just played Cod WAW nazi zombies. He never touched the harddrive or 360. Wasn't much of one to play by himself. And he's an only child so theres no way it was brothers or sister.

I think it happened when i put my profile onto his mem card. Cause we had a big thing a few weekends ago and he just brought his 360 over. If it's anyones fault it's mine. I'm just upset that all that time and effort got corrupted.

Maybe. I don't know and quite frankly, don't care. My 360 has the red ring of death anyway so im just gonna destroy it someday and get a PS3. Plus he has stuff to worry about as well, so im not going to bother him with it.

Ehh...I've had some unfortunate stuff go down with my 360. I would put your freind down as a possible problem for the damage caused. I dunno i like PS3 more than 360 too but i wouldn't classify them as complete crap.

If you've got the RRoD, why don't you send it in to Microsoft and get it replaced? The warranty is 3 years long, and they're normally pretty good about dealing with consoles in this regard. :gasp:
