Do you wish you could draw? And why?

I wish I could draw so i could put images in my head on paper. Like characters and scenes for many things. I just envy those who can.

I envy people who can do scenic drawings.
I'm okay about writing down my dreams, but I wish that I could draw them out as well.

I envy people who can draw all the technical stuff --- though I am planning on drawing architecture myself in the near future. :) Why? Because I plan on going into architecture.

Other than that, I can draw really great profiles and heads and stuff, and am currently working on more anatomy. ^_^
I like to draw things as I see them, besides, that's the rule when it comes to drawing, you draw what you see and not what you think you see, get it? ;)

I wish I can draw things off of my mind. I've tried it, but failed. Some turned out okay though, but definitely not the best. I guess I need more practice.

I'm more of the type that draws things as I see it. Sometimes I'll change a few things here and there though (for instance, the coloring), just to fit my preferences.

There is so much I wish I could draw. People, places, anything really. I can see much beautiful places and amazing people in my imagination. Every time I dream I envision places that anyone would love to visit and explore. And I get to explore these places when I sleep with the people I dream up to explore them with. I would just love to be able to put them on paper somehow.

I feel like a composer that can hear wonderful music in his mind but has no talent for transforming that into actual written music, yet alone play that music. I would kill for a way to project the images in my mind to some sort of viewable format that exists outside my head.

I can't draw, and I'm fine with it. I've since accepted that it's just not my forte, nor something I'm actually interested to learn. I wouldn't mind having a few more skills up my sleeve, but that's the wrong reason for wanting to draw.

I'm content with the way I can draw, but I wish I could be a slight bit more articulate when it comes to painting/sketching/drawing animals from memory. I'm fine with scenery and people, but animals... escape me. I always seem to get the proportions wrong, unless I have a good body-reference.

It's the only damp patch I have in my drawing skills. I love sketching out new things which pop into my head.

I'm envious with those who can capture light and shadow very well in their drawings. I also envy people who can do things like trees and scenery and furred animals. I'm not all that good with those things, obviously. I mean, sure, I have very few drawings where the scenery actually looks good, but it never seems to have enough to it.

I need more practice. =\

You know, I've always envied people who are adept at drawing out their imagination. I've never possessed that talent, and I don't think I've ever been motivated enough to persist long enough to become good at it myself. But all in all, it's all good. I may not be able to paint out a picture in my head, but I've always prided myself in how well I can write. I guess that overall drawing and writing can accomplish the same ends sometimes, it all just depends on exactly what method you choose to "paint" out an idea.

I definitely wish I could draw. It'd be a great filler for time when I'm bored and junk like that. I'd love to see what I could come up with and what I could replicate or come up with on my own.

But for now, I draw stick figures with 7 fingers and malformed ears.

of course I wish I could draw. It would make so much easier for me to make a comic book. it's interesting when you have to get someone else to draw the first visuals of the characters you come up with.

I can only draw manga really and even then I need something in front of me to guide me, like a manga novel or comic book. My friend is a great srtist and tries her best to sell them, but she said its a tough business.

I want to learn how to digital draw, drawing on the PC. I love looking at creations on Devinant Art and Im so envyious.

I draw but I know I can do better. I set really high standards for my self. I have gotten a lot better at drawing body proportions. I can't use colors that well either. I envy my watercolor teacher who can look at a item and mix colors to match the color of the item. I need to take a color theory class. :/

I envy people that can paint so well that their panting looks like a photograph.

I envy people who are really well at drawing, because then they could draw all there favorite video game characters however they want.

Some can, some can't.

Yes, I wish I could do landscapes and faces, but the best I can do is stick figures. O-|-<

Why? I’ve always been interested in oil painting landscape scenes as well as faces and expressions.
