Do you think ff8 is the best PS1 ff game?

I do cos it certainly is better than the previous ones, and to me final fantasy 9 is a bit stupid looking at the pictures but i havent played that one.

Well, it is in a way for me, seeing as I have FFVIII and FFVI joint 2nd in my FF games fave list. FFIX is a true little FF, so don't go dissing it just yet ;P

No, I think FFVII is the best. It's the best FF out of them all to me in fact
I have a bit of mixed feelings about FFVIII actually. At times, I like the storyline to it, but then again I can hate it at times. It's a bit weird really. One thing I know is that I don't really like the characters too much

But just to stay on topic - NO FFVIII is not the best. it is horrible, its my worst FF game ever. i didnt like the draw system at all and i hate how the characters had the same 3 minutes of backstory - Orphanage and Memory loss

FFVIII is not my favorite but i have to say Squall was a really good main character and the Gunblade's were really cool.

FF 7 and FF 9 were so much better, in many ways mainly because the storys are so much better, the games generally were more exciting.

I think i can say FFVIII is my all time favorite but it was the first FF title that i played so it will always have a special place in my heart!

Uhmmmm I actually think FFVII and IX tie as the best.
FFVIII, as I've mentioned several times before...it had an abstract story line, which is great and all, but...the character development was just utterly horrible.

At this point im determining whether VIII or VI is best. But i think VIII pretty much takes the cake. I remember saying that it sucked. But now im replaying it and remembering all the good times i had. To tell the truth the draw system shouldve never been in the game, it was just an added bonus to getting more magic. The Junction system was awesome. and the rest of the game is too
