I have heard wild things about it. I knew a bunch of artists and they all swore on the place as the most amazing thing. I have never been there.

Disney world isn't great, its amazing. The rides are sick, the parks are huge, it is nonestop fun and I do not think it is overated. If you ever get a chance, go there, you wont be disappointed.

Disney World...

Let's think about it, I'm 15 years old, a very hard to impress age. I love Disney World, my parents have been making it a yearly trip now, I went last year, year before, and I had a fantastic time, I am going again in October, and the time is going by so slowly.

Having a Disney World is a huge bonus to a location. I recommend it to anyone, you never get to old for it, Maybe to old for certain things there but there is truly something for everyone.

I recommend to everyone, it's a must do before you die.

Hmm... That's good to know since it seems there's going to be a family trip to Disney World soon. Hope it's as great as you guys say it is. -_-

Don't believe the hype!

Srsly though, nothing is as good as you think it will be. I had a good time at Disney world, was it everything I expected? No.
But like I said, nothing is. As long as you don't expect it to be orgasmic, you won't be disapointed and ergo should have a good time.

I've been there three times and I enjoy it every single time. D:

It's a fun place to go, I bet it is ten times better for little kids though. They believe a Mickey Mouse in a suit the size of two men is the real deal.

Agreed. Unrealistic expectations or what? Same goes for Alton Towers. It isn't all that fantastic, and you end up expecting more.

Disneyland is amazing. I've been to the one in Orlando twice and Paris once. There's just no way of describing how overwhelming it can get to see your childhood icons come to life before your eyes. The parades are probably the best, along with the shows - Fantasmic! being ridiculously unbelievable.

Fantasmic....it lived up to it's name...a breathtaking show of fireworks, special effects and fantastic acting right before your eyes. It's performed at MGM every night before park closing time. It is the best show at the park...probaly even the best thing they have, I recommend going definetely.

Kingdom Hearts without Sora, the keyblade, Riku, Kairi, Orgainsation XIII, the Keyholes, the refferences to the other worlds...That's a lot missing :wacky:

However, I have to admit, while I was watching it, I was starting to think of Kingdom Hearts, I think it was the whole, Disney character's crossover thing.

I've been to the Orlando one 3 times, and I've been to Disneyland Paris once. And it's absolutely amazing! It totally brings out your inner child, and the roller-coasters and the rides are amazing. Although after going to Disneyland, you expect other theme parks to have equally amazing rides, and you get disappointed >_>

I've been to Disney World in Orlando quite a few times. *ahem* Don't go out of Orlando, it's all ghetto and gross. x_x

Anyways, Disney World is FUCKING AWESOME. I love it, all of the sections are great Epcot, Magical Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, MGM, etc. There is a lot to do but keep in mind that some things are overpriced, obviously.

The only downside about Disney is the busyness. I can't stand large crowds and waiting in line for two hours. If you want to avoid that, avoid Holidays and spring/summer. I'm not sure if it's still the same but, I went to Disney at the end of August, right before class starts. The lines were no more than a 10 minute wait, it was great!

Never been there. The rides look pretty awesome, but they aren't worth the travel. Can't really think of another reason worth going.

Lots of creepy, dancing mascots? Nah...don't care too much about them.
Hordes of tourists? Gotta love 'em, but I'll pass.
The food maybe? I doubt it's worth the outrageous price.

I dunno. I'm sure it's a great way to have fun and spend time with family/friends, but it doesn't appeal a whole lot to me.

Disney World is absolutly amazing. I stole a bunch of stuff while I was there, security was pretty lax. Got myself some SWEET new kicks though.

Other than that, I think the best part of it was being in Epcot right before it closed for the laser show and fireworks.

I've never been to Disneyland but wouldn't mind going in the future, just for the sake of knowing what I'm apparently missing out on. I've never been particularly bothered about seeing a guy in a Mickey Mouse costume, but I guess it'd be worth it for the rides. I usually find that things don't live up to expectations though, and have always imagined Disneyland to be a tad overrated. For me I think the most amusing thing about it would be the people from all over the world. >_>

-__- Ooooh, sore subject. My trip there for this month got cancelled. In fact, I'd be there right now if it hadn't been. I was highly disappointed.

Yes, Disney World is all that and a bag of potato chips. I love it there. My dad is the most straight-laced and hard to impress man in the entire world, and it seems like he doesn't like ANYTHING EVAR, and he loves Disney World. Probably more than I do. All of the parks are absolutely amazing and a lot of fun. Things there are really stylized and beautiful to me. In the Magic Kingdom, there's a part of the park that looks like 1930s Americana. In MGM, there's a part that looks like Hollywood in the 1950s. I LOVE that kind of stuff. I think it's amazing. It's just so...perfect looking. The rides are really amazing, and many of them will have you trying to guess how they did it. And the daiquiris in Mexico in Epcot are fabulous :monster:

...I'm going to stop gushing about it now, because it's just making me sad that I didn't get to go ;_;

It's amazing!!!!! I used to go there every year as a kid and I sure had a lot of fun! The rides were crazy and there was just sooo much to do! My parents always had to force me to go out of hte park! Seriously, one day is just not enough to see it all!!!

Well, I'm planning to go there next year! And I bet there's gonna be thousands of new rides! (or at least I hope so xD).

I've never been to the one in Florida, but I've been to the one on California about 5 or 6 times. I never grew tired of it. Lots of rides and things to do. I'd still like to go to the one in Florida though. I've heard amazing things about it, but then again some people still prefer the one in California (although I don't know why). I just don't recommend getting a season pass...because it WILL become tiring. Disneyland/world is just one of those special events that you do with your family and friends once or twice a year, I'm thinking.
