Disney Sequels

Wow, am I the only one here who hasn't seen either Rescuer's movies? o_O

I may have seen The Little Mermaid 2 once/twice... it was alright, but nothing fantastic. And quite possibly, Cinderella is the one that has been kicked repeatedly, expecting to do new tricks with every sequel. Granted the second (or third?) one had a kinda good idea, a Happily Never After sort of feel, but it was still just so... ugh. Hunchback 2 especially. And it was actually done not all that long after the first and it still ruined the ending of it.

Quit being such a Jew. :mokken:

I didn't actually know the Narnia series was Disney to begin with, tbh. Interesting fact.

I didn't know Disney had dropped Narnia.
Sad as I thought the first 2 movies were good.

Didn't realize the thread was limited to cartoons only.

I am not a big fan of the cartoons. The Lion King was great. So was the Little Mermaid and the old Walt Disney movies like Snow White.

The sequels were problematic. That is definite.

I'm not really fond of any of the Disney sequels.

They're a bit bland.

The soundtrack is never as good as the originals.

It's like they thought, 'Hey The Little Mermaid was a hit, why not milk it a bit more and make some sequels without putting in the effort we did with the original.'

If they can't get the original actors to do the voicing and what not it always sounds dodgy and no where near as good as the original.

I've got all the sequels but the only one I love is 'The Rescuers Down Under.'

To me it's not really a sequel. It's a movie of it's own. I love it more than the original to be honest and they kept the original voice actors. <3
