So, your favorite Disney films/characters? C'mon, we were all kids at some point. And I still love watching Disney films. ;)

Anyway, mine would be Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, and Snow White (just classic!). There's more, but those are my favorites. And when I mean favorites, I mean I can watch them all the time and not get bored.

What I really love about Disney films is the fact that the music really puts me in the mood. Alan Menken and Tim Rice are best known for making that happen.

I always cry when watching Dumbo, its just sooo sad, im such a sucker for it xD

Oh and the bit in Lion King, when Mufasa dies and Simba tries to crawl under his dad's paws....

I remember watching Sword in the Stone a lot when i was little, i love that song Merlin sings when he shrinks all his stuff. I also like Mulan and Hercules
The jungle book was quite good aswell..... But the only ones i would actually bother to watch if i was bored, would be Dumbo, Lion King and Sword In The Stone..

Im surprised ive had this much to say about Disney films xD

Loved Flight of the Navigator when i was younger! And it was on the other day, Hocus Pocus with Bette Midler, I think she's fantastic!!! But for Cartoon wise it prob the Little mermaid. "Just wait and see, one day i'll be, part of his woooooooooooooooooooooooooooorld"!!! Xxx

Just do.

When I was a kid I used to come home from school and almost everyday I watched the Lion King. I only really cared for the first one, the others that came out I think I was too old to enjoy.

I still enjoy Mulan and Hercules though. In fact, I own Mulan. Good stuff...Good stuff.

I love their early-mid 90s stuff (from The Little Mermaid to The Lion King) when they were really at the top of their game - my favourite is probably Aladdin. Robin Williams is one of the most inspired voice performances in any animated film, he pretty much runs away with the whole movie as the Genie. Though Jafar and Iago are great villains.

Beauty and the Beast is probably a better film, but I enjoy Aladdin that little bit more.

And if we're including Pixar here, then pretty much everything they've ever done! Especially the two Toy Story films and The Incredibles.

Gotta love Disney movies. I'm 19 and I can't get enough of 'em. My personal favorite is The Lion King, but I'm a fan of nearly all the classics.

It's a shame Disney is so terrible nowadays...

It's between Maleficent and Jafar for me. Oh, wait...and Hades. I love Hades. He's evil AND he has a sense of humor. Nifty.

Tell me about it. I dislike most of the recent Disney films...such as Nemo. I honestly did not enjoy that movie at all. Watched it once, and once is enough. I don't know why everyone was so hyped up about it.

Anyone saw Mulan 2? I was quite disappointed, but it was to be expected, I guess. Disney sequels are usually blah.

I never get too excited about Disney Pixar films like Nemo...or that new movie with the cooking rat. Toy Story is terrific...and that's about it.

I haven't seen Mulan 2. I just assume sequels to Disney movies are awful. No point in tainting the greatness of the first Mulan movie by watching the crap that is the second.

Oh god, I LOVE Disney so much. I wet myself when I heard about "Enchanted," just because they're including old school Disney animation. I really miss their animation :( CGI seems so...cold in comparison.

When I was younger, Aladdin was my favorite of the Disney movies. I loved the exotic theme and all of the colors used. Also....I loved Jasmine (and still do). She's so sassy, beautiful, and stylish! I also love Beauty and the Beast. Ugh, Gaston is such an ass. I love hating him :D Mulan is also another good one. For some reason, I'm not really a fan of the Lion King. It just seems like a Hamlet rip-off to me, only with lions. Excellent animation and music though. And Jeremy Irons, mmm.

Okay, I'm sure many people will disagree with me (and have), but I honestly think that The Hunchback of Notre Dame is totally underrated! The animation is phenomenal, and I think it's really a maturely themed movie. As I was watching it recently, I kept thinking, "Is this REALLY rated G?!" Yes, I know it's completely different from the novel upon which it is based....but seriously, read a plot summary of that novel and tell me HOW Disney can successfully make something cheerful out of that.

I think Disney realizes that a lot of people yearn for their old school animation, because they have a 2-D animation film in the works. It's called "Frog Princess" (I think?).

I love the old Disney films, not much a fan of the newer ones. I do like the Disney-Pixar films though, most of them anyway. My favorite disney film is Beauty and the Beast by far. I just love watching that movie and I never get tired of it. The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Aladdin are also favorites.

My favorite movies are The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Not just favorite Disney movies, but my favorites overall.

I love all the Disney-Pixar collabs (guess they aren't collabs anymore, now that Pixar got merged?) but I consider them on a different field than the traditional Disney 2D features. I used to be a total purist for 2D animation until I watched Finding Nemo.

Many of the recent Disney films suck because the money-grubbing aspect of the company is in power, so the creative side is suffering. But that's just how the company works. It'll flux back like a pendulum, just as it did for the New Wave movies.

Ah, I agree. Not a lot of people truly recognize The Hunchback of Notre Dame for what it really is. (Yikes, forgot to add that on my list!) I especially love the music there...and the artwork overall. The cathedrals were awesome. Hmm, I haven't read the plot summary of that novel...actually didn't know that a novel existed. =/ I'll definitely have to check that out.

I love most of the older Disney films, it seems Disney has went down hill of late with most of its films being about talking fish/animals.

Meh, they're alright. Fish and other animals talking aren't really new anyway...they've done it with The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, etc. But I do agree that I don't really find Nemo appealing at all. Sure there were some cute moments but not enough element to make it on my top favorite Disney films.

My favorite movie was, is, and will be "The Lion King". I loved the whole Safari theme, the songs, the characters... It's all great.

"Enchanted" was great news for me. The story was beautiful and that new Princess Giselle was lovely and different.

Everytime I see the Disney Castle in the beggining of a movie, it brings me to tears because I love Disney so much... And to think that I haven't visited Disneyland not once =(

My favorite Disney movie would have to be Beauty and the Beast. I use to watch it non-stop when I was a kid xD

A very close second would be Bambi. It's such a sweet movie, and I tear up a little every time I watch it. I'll never get tired of it no matter how old I get!

Other favorites would be the Lion King, Alladin, and the Little Mermaid.

I. Freakin'. Love. Disney. Movies. :333

Aladdin
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Lion King...!

Ugh, too many to name! I also really enjoyed the Pixar films Monster's Inc. and Finding Nemo. Toy Story (obviously) I always find myself singing something from a Disney song.

Is Ice age disney....?

I don't think it is is it :(

Well I guess my favourite would have to be Lion King, I love that film, and it made me cry, it had some of the best music I'd heard in a Disney film for a while aaswel

Beauty & the Beast would be a close second, I have watched that one more times than you can shake a stick at. LOVE it. I still prefer Beast as the Beast though, I was gutted when he turned back human xD

Other favourites would be Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Sleeping beauty and er, that's about it. I think I watched Bambi and Snow White too much (brother had them as a kid) although it's still good to get nostalgic and stick them on every so often :monster:
I well wanna watch summat now >_<

Ihave the perfect excuse to buy Disney dvd's aswel, but they always seem to be so bloody expensive D:
