Disable smilies in the shoutbox.

It's getting pretty annoying, because they're making the shoutbox screwy. it's because the smilies are bigger than the messages being sent. >>:C
 
They don't make the shoutbox jumpy for you? >.>

Unless it's the :hiya: smiley, then yes, I think it does make the SB jump up a bit. Because it is pretty big space-wise.

Otherwise, I don't notice the shoutbox getting 'jumpy'.

Well, every time even one of them is used, it makes the shoutbox jumpy for me. T-T
 
What is your screen resolution at?
What browser you using?
Is it blocking javascript?

It could be any of those and more.
 
Back when I was able to use the shout box, I've seen plenty of smilies being dropped. I've never seen anything out of the ordinary.
 
Just clear your Cashe frequently. Such a thing isn't really needed anyway. :monster:
 
I'm not a big smilie fan, I hate having conversations then suddenly, you have,

or everones favourite but my worst

There are some large ones, namely :hiya: and :monster:, but removing them seems a bit extreme to me. It seems to me like you have a poor internet connection or something. I've never had a problem.
 
I haven't really used the SB much, but what I've seen looks fine so far. The old Chatroom used to get screwed up a bit when stuff like images were posted, but I'd say as long as no one abuses the smilie emotions and just floods the page with them, we'll be fine.
