It does feel short, but it seems like the same thing is happening with this game that happened with Kingdom Hearts II - people get so hyped up for it and excited about it and never want to put it down so they end up finishing the game faster. That's just my opinion anyway.

Uh, yeah, this game is too short. They need to make a storyline with 'love'(If you haven't noticed, FF12 got none) or, at least add in more places to go.

Hey, FFXII had some really awesome cities and dungeons, you have to admit. I just wish they would have leveled it out with more cities than dungeons, that's all. ^_^

FFXII did have some romance, but I think it's done pretty well in general (I mean, review wise) without romance. Ashe still liked Rasler..shame he was dead :/

maybe the reason it felt short was because there was no random battles so you could just run past the enemies?

After you completed the Story yes but entering a new area running past enemies is suicidal, 2-3 then 4-5 enemies will be behind you chasing you, unless you exit the area. Running from tough enemies in FFXII is very hard imo because of the open area and many enemies can spot you. I just fought everything i came up against.

well if the enemies dont give up chasing you then of course fight them
but if they are hard at that point then i wont fight them or if i cant be bothered

the game length was just about right but the story was way too short...after about 10 hrs in i decided to just rush through the game because honestly most parts in this game is as boring as reading a math book

Story was lacking, even though i welcome a more political tale it needed more cut scenes and character interaction. Something which is labeled with the FF franchise.

Can someone please elaborate on why there is the lack of character interaction? I personally don't see it, and I'm sure I have explained why elsewhere, but if someone wants to know my views, then do ask.

I'm purely interested in some reasoning behind it - and there was enough cutscenes tbh. :) - I may even see what people are on about once I play the game, but I think I pretty much saw what I needed to know about the characters in cutscenes..and stuff =D

You can't have too many cutscenes in a game, and the cutscenes that were in the game, suited their situations perfectly.

Could have done with a few more FMV's tbh XD

more cutscenes was the last thing that the game need we already a 100 of them and nor did it need much character interaction either. people are just used to having love stories and to much character interation in the old games that they want it in the new games as well. the only problem in this game was that its huge plot was shaped up in a small amount of time which led the game into crazy spot and the whole game was going so fast i just got not go along with it. but when the lenght is considered the plot made the game look short while if the plot didnt have the flaws it had then the game was really long. but leaving the plot the was the game was exellent. trully one of my favorites.

The game's storyline was to short, but i think thats because they had a lot of optional quests, you gotta admit.

I would have wanted a rather longer storyline. It is actually a lot shorter if you take out the travelling. When you had to go to Archades from Mt. Bur-Omisace, the distance you had to go was just a real waste of time if you didn't have teleport crystals.

Wow you people must like to rush things. Just because you beat the final boss doesn't mean you're done. You have a long ways to go before you beat the ENTIRE game. I'm just now getting to Bahamu and I have 73 hours on my game. You still have the unts, the optional bosses and the other espers to get. Plus other sidequests. This is the longest FF so far.
