Did you notice that zack fair went from a total immature adhd person, to a mature calm powerful person throughout the little ammount of time in the game? This thread will be a tribute to Zack Fair's maturity rising.

First of all, I'd like to tell you now - remove the Zack smilies. It's against the rules to have so many there and takes up the server. x_x

And it was Angeal's death that transformed him from the immature boy to the mature man that he was for the rest of the game. He had to grow up quick and hide his pain.
 
Yeah angeal's death transformed him, but before that he was steadily growing in his own right. The death just showed him that he had to grow as not to let Angeal down and show that he was first class soldier material. He had to mature to prove his soldier honor
 
You've must noticed that Zack's hair was getting longer by the time, do you think they are related? I think that Zack's brain is actually in his hair!!!
It's just a theory, besides all of the heros *Not just in FF* When they get power the become more mature...It's an old scenario you know ;)
 
I think it is partly Angeals death and partly the mako and s cells he absorbs after the fight with sephiroth. And the fact he meets aeris and feels love. And wants to act more mature.
 
People mature as they get older or as different events affect them, Zack would be no different, and the death of Angeal would have affected him greatly along with all the other crazy shit that's going on at the time, he's BOUND to 'grow u p'
 
to me Its a little sad really.Zack had to grow up and face everything that was going on.wasent he only 16 in the begining of the game?
 
I think in almost EVERY FF game the protagonist matures and becomes a powerful warrior/personality etc.
Although, that's to be expected. Going through a whole load of batsh*t cray stuff will do that to someone :wacky:
 
Yeah, he goes thru all this crap, just to die at the end. I think that's why I can't finish it. Not because it's a hard game, but because he is such a like-able character. I did enjoy his immature side: the spontaneous squats, the head scratching, "Zack the Puppy," but it did seem as if when he matured, so did his hair. 0.0 And it looks awesome longer. ^^
 
Yeah, it usually happens with main chars. Think mostly it was due to the death of Angeal. Too many emotions happening so he had to suppress it all to persevere.
