Did anybody hear about the bomb?

I heard there was a bomb in Times Square recently, but bomb squad got to it before it went off. Now, does anybody have details on this?
I've told everybody, we're going to get hit with another major terrorist attack soon, it's just a matter of how and when. This would be the second attempted terrorist attack on US soil (in the country) since December '09.
The first was around Christmas time I think, a suicide bomber tried to blow off a bomb on a plane that was headed to Detroit, but the bomb, that was sewed into his briefs, backfired, and burned his balls.
So, anyone got any more info?

Not having a dig there Oblivion it just sounds strange they way you wrote it lol to me anyway.

I heard something about Al qaeda claiming responsebility, but there were no official leads in the bombing attempt, they are like "yeah we did that pretty good huh?"
Idiots! is that politicaly correct?

I heard later they captured a guy at some airport in newyork,apparentley from Pakistan,Why now though its possible there is no new offensive and hat its just some rogue element with there own agenda/

This guy tried to pull off this Times Square attack on Friday night I think. He has been arrested today, trying to board a plane.

This is the simple argument I've been making for the past year or so. People on here even, have been trying to convince me that if we pull troops from the Middle East that we won't get attacked again. I'm sticking by what I've said already many times.

People want to put economic woes before safety. Lets worry about safety first, then we can discuss things like overhauling medical insurance or whatever the hell will supposedly help the economy. But for now, I'd rather be safe and have a life and economy to worry about than to worry about how to "change" things.

I agree.
My Friends son was there when it happend so she was slightly scared as hell when she heard of it.

And please dont talk of the Medical thing I have entire rants over that and im so tempted to go on about it now damn you
