Delete post doesn't work

as the title said. Luckily it wasn't too much of an issue as a mod fixed it for me. but i still would like to be able to fix the issue on my own.

Are you getting an error message at all or is it just that nothing happens when you click it?

I don't get any error message at all. I try deleting and it wont delete. it attempts to delete but takes forever and doesn't end up going all the way through.

You should be able to delete your own posts. Did you try deleting your other posts in other threads/section? It could be that the forum was having a slight hiccup at the time that you tried to delete the post (sometimes things will take longer than usual, happens from time to time). But if you can check again for us - hopefully you'll no longer have this problem.

i've atempted to edit another post at several different times. that doesn't work also.

I just tested the delete post function under a different usergroup account (Full Member - same as yours). It works fine. When you click "Edit Post", make sure you check the "Delete this post in the following manner" box. It should let you delete it then when you click the Delete Post button.

Using the standard skin and im using internet explorer

I tested it on IE and it appears to be working for me. We'll have to get the techies to take a look at it.

If you have a different browser available at hand (FireFox, Chrome) Id advise to also try that, just to make sure. In the mean time the technicians can probably look at it, like Ilyena said.

I was testing in IE9. Unless there's a newer version of IE that I haven't heard about.
