Deadman Wonderland is an anime that comes on saturday nights on toonami, usually around 12:30 AM. It is about
A boy named Ganta who is framed for the killing of his entire middle school, and sent to a bazaar prison called Wonderland. In wonderland, he becomes whats known as a Deadman. Deadmen can control their blood to make it into weapons such as blades, whips, bullets, ect. He later befriends characters such as Hummingbird, Mockingbird, Crow, Owl, and more.

Well I liked it more than Eureka 7, it was a tad too gorey for my tastes but for once I was happy it was censored.

I do hate that the first season ended so soon, I was getting into the storyline but I can tell once it ends Ganta and his friend with silver hair may end up

My friend Andrew wants there to be a second season. I think it would be great, butother than Ganta killing Shiro, the only other story element they could build apon would be what happens to Mocking Bird, and that wouldnt be much. :T
I have to say, the english version of Ganta was a terrible voice acting choice. BUT! His voice in the end still haunts me. When he slaughters Genkaku, the uber monk, and hes talking about people depending on him to survive, he moved me to tears TT.TT
 
Yes sadly Gantas Dub Actor had a ear killing voice to me, but I think they could make it where hes trying to change Shiro to not be ((Ace-Man was it?)) I feel that if Ganta gets stronger Shiro may discard that persona of the Red Man least thats what I'm hoping in the future, but I sense it may not and go down a bloody path for both of them
 
I believe in the manga they return to Wonderland to confront Shiro as the "Wretched Egg", "Redman, or "Aceman" if you will.
Don't know the details, but they may make a second season on the "Return to DW" ark of the manga.
 
I enjoyed this series. I personally rated it 8/10. Although I think the characters' personalities were lacking a bit, the overall story was compelling enough to keep me excited for the next episode. Some of it reminded me of the film The Running Man a little bit. Overall, recommended.
 
Haha my next signature set is of Shiro. :3 She's already one of my favorite female anime characters of all time. The manga apparently has a lot more going on than the anime which kind of makes me sad since I really got into the anime. The opening themesong is one of my favorites. <3 Really am planning on reading the manga if I can find it. Ganta reminded me too much of Renton it's not even funny. Even his voice was kinda like Renton. I kinda wish the anime was more than just 12 episodes though. They had enough material to spread it out to 24 eps for the first season. I'n my opinion the story was really really rushed and I didn't have time to get attached to the characters. The only character I did care for was Shiro, and that's only because she acts so adorable and deadly. Like Yuno from Future Diary. ^_^
 
I tried to watch this, but that kids VA pisses me off more than any of the young naruto VAs ever did. Naruto sounds kind of like a drowning cat you say? Well Ganta's VA infact, is a drowning cat!

*ahem* no cats were harmed in the production of this dub.

Does anyone want to do a RP with Deadman Wonderland themes? Maybe more so that we use branches of sin, but we could follow the same storyline if people would be intrested. I'd personally like to do a new story line, but whatever will get people to join.
