Since we are on the dating scene, I bring to the table another question. Could you date a psychologist/psychiatrist?

I think you see where I'm going with this, but I don't believe I could as juvenile as it sounds. I'm a very.. interesting person as some folks say. I have mental quirks where I need to do stuff sometimes (a little OCD) and other times I am a little superstitious where I believe being in a certain place will calm me down.

I also hate being around a lot of people sometimes, and other times love it. Depends on my mood really.. though if I were to date a psychiatrist.. I would always and I mean ALWAYS feel that they would analyze me. No matter how much they say they don't, I think it's trained in their nature to do these things. Especially if they had a patient all the sudden resemble some of my crazy traits come through, and she diagnosed them with something like.. "Spontaneous Combustion Disorder" (made it up, lawl). Though I'm just saying.. I don't think she/he could treat a person with the same empathetic nature anymore due to the training and people they've seen over the years.

What's your opinion?

:hmmm: I think it would depend on the person. How people judge you depends, in part, on their personality. Furthermore, some people would be able to adapt to each environment, distancing themselves at work, whilst being loving at home; I wouldn't want to assume that they're going to analyse/judge me. However, I can certainly see how this type of job could cause some tension.

Those who are trained to analyse behaviour could over-react to small quirks, but I would hope they love you despite your quirks. I'd also hope they'd look at your whole personality instead of focussing on the things that you recognise as a bit unusual. Everyone has small little quirks; I don't think it's normal to be 'normal.' ;)

I couldn't be with someone who does judge me in that way, though. I'd feel a little bit unloved. My quirks are a part of who I am. Together, they're a unique combination, and I wouldn't be Judy without them. The love of my life must embrace them, even treasure them a bit. They can tease me for them, but ultimately, they must be part of what makes me special to them. :) Their quirks will be special to me!

I would say yes for this

my reason being is the fact that I always prefer woman who have knowledge and/or are very smart, well not soo much very smart but a woman who know their stuff, I just seem to be attractive to woman with alot of knowledge. I love knowledge as well as having a smart conversation with people, and I always had trouble to connect with woman who were.... hmmm how could I put this 'not soo smart I guess'. it just part of my nature to have smart conversations and talk about say new discoveries or new tech and stuff like that. being a doctor the woman would have knowledge on new discoveries in medical science as well as knowledge on the human body, so I think I would be able to connect to a doctor or a nurse :)

also, you got to admit, you must like the cloths they wear, well the men like what the women wear anyway
