This thread is about which of this two is a better game? Give your opinions and thoughts about this two games. Please don't forget to vote. Every vote counts.

I personally think that Dante's Inferno is a better game than Darksiders because it has more gameplay hours, it has better sound effects and the boss fights are more unique than the ones that are in Darksiders. I like how they made the concept of this game because it get's creepier and darker as you proceed through the game. I also like how they took all of the important elements from the book and place them into the game such as the Nine Circles of Hell, the sins, etc, and made it look as original as the novel, and that's what make this game look so great. Darksiders is more of a adventure and exploring game, while Dante's Inferno is more of a hack and slash game with a slow combat system like God of War series. That's why I choose Dante's Inferno over Darksiders because it has more action to it and has more to give.

I'm personally not sure. I haven't played anything of Dante's Inferno, but I have played a little Darksiders. So at the moment Darksiders has my vote.

This thread is a little premature I think, given that Dante's Inferno isn't even out yet.
However, after playing Darksiders and being slightly appalled at its genericness - see my review if you're interested in my full opinion (/shameless blogging) - I'd say Dante's Inferno is probably going to be the better game. Since the idea behind it is the basis for the gameplay, and not just something they touch upon briefly as in Darksiders, its far more unique in its premise and will probably be a lot more interesting. Although, then again, I don't know how far it actually stays true to the original scripture outside of keeping the proper names of the Circles of Hell (yes, I'm still pissed about Pestilence and Famine becoming Strife and Fury in Darksiders...) so I dunno. Dante's Inferno could just be a generic God of War set in Hell, just as Darksiders is a generic Legend of Zelda set after the Apocalypse~

I'll vote after I play Dante's Inferno.

I will say Dante's Inferno cause I for one am more excited about it and Darksider's seemed ok at best to me. Dante's Inferno seems to have more potential to be a good game(but thats coming from the hype factor) and Darksider's seems to be a good rental to me anyway.

Way too soon to tell, I have to get my hands on Dante's inferno which I think comes out in March. So to conclude, I'm going to have to say Darksiders for now because of inconclusive evidence.

Although I hope Dante's Inferno is better but we shall see. I loved the book so in all technicality it should be better.

This game is awesome! I bought it on the release date which was yesterday Feb 9th and I got to say that this game it's worth buying. The story is great, the gameplay is espectacular, the bosses are very unique, the sound effects is outstanding and the picture quality is perfect. You get to experience hell and learn about every sins located in each of the Nine Circles of Hell. This excellent game is a must have.
