Storyline

The Old West.. where a lone cowboy leads an uprising against a terror from beyond our world. 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). It's a town that lives in fear. But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known. Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been... Written by Universal Pictures

First off; the title alone gives me an immediate "SNAKES ON A PLANE" type vibe. There's no being coy or subtle about things here.

COWBOYS.

AND ALIENS.

SETTING EXPLAINED.

Now whether it actually does well or dries up in the pile of mediocre-film-feces remains to be seen. Still, I'll probably give it a shot, if only to see Ford doing something that's not worked from the pocket's of George Lucas.

Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig are both powerful actors imo so thats the reason why I posted this trailer..The title is too obvious but becuz of these 2 actors this movie might be very interesting... also im a huge fan of Sci-Fi !!!

Im a geek :geek:

Never liked India Jones btw..

this isn't some kind of horrible piss take mock-up film. it's been approached perfectly seriously, but with a bad title. i think it'll be quite a commercial flop because of its title, but will probably gather quite a cult following (in other words achieving what snakes on a plane wanted to, without even trying). it is being treated as a western primarily, with a sci-fi twist.

jon favreau is a very good director with an interesting technique. i loved both iron man films a lot. and then he has indiana jones and james bond teaming up together? perfect combination.
