I noticed ages ago but I didn't get a chance to ask. Brother is Yuna's cousin right? And he said he "loves" Yuna. Was that meant to be or did SE make a mistake? :shame:

I think it's disgusting. The only thing in my mind was "Would you bring back Tidus already?!"

by love it can also be meaning a family love like you have brotherly love you can also have cousinly love etc

really nothing wrong with it at all
 
I don't think so. When I went to sleep in
chapter 5, Brother said that he loves her and that she has a nice back, whatever that means
 
well, i don't think I saw that scene, it really depends on how brother was interpreting it, it could just be complimentary or maybe brother has an uncontrollable crush on yuna, it is legal for cousins to date and get married as far as i know so it would hardly be wrong even if it was meant differently

I thought the same thing as well. In FFX they said Yuna and Rikku were cousins. Rikku's brother is well...Brother, making him Yuna's cousin as well. :dry:

I've notice that, Brother kept hitting on Yuna and they way the sounded he actually meant it. I don't remember because I haven't played this game for a while but I think Brother mentions about how attractive Yuna is or wants a date...?

I really think I remember something of the same too. He also keeps protecting her and wanting to be close to her at all times. >_>;;

Kinda creepy if you ask me.
 
That could just be down to protecting your family, maybe he took the duty a bit too seriously?
 
Brother said that he learned English just so that he could talk to Yuna. It really said that in the game. Then in Chapter 5
Brother and Buddy were talking on the Deck, they were worried that Yuna and Paine will quit. It also revealed the secret why Brother founded the Gullwings. He wanted to find hot and strong girls. Of course they were talking in Al Bhed so it's hard to understand without the Al Bhed dictionary.
So as you can see that Brother is a dumb and naughty boy :sick:

I don't know any. In my opinion Brother is a lousy leader. Buddy, however does his part for the team. Shinra does all the thinking.

Maybe Brother couldn't find any cute and aviable Al Bhed girls ;) Men...
 
well, Yuna is half..... oh well, guess power ain't everything and al-bhed girls don't go for mohawks

and brother is navigator, brother would be left out if he wasn't leader
 
After that scene with Brother admitting that he loves Yuna, Calli was on my airship. She said that Brother looks like an adorable chocobo.
Sorry I'm going out of subject here :P
 
It did creep me out and annoy me as he was just constantly hitting on Yuna and being really creepy towards her. I dont understand why SE went ahead and allowed this sort of relationship because it just seems so sinister and incesty for the series.
 
=O! So? Brother and Yuna are still family in some way or another. lmao. It's still pretty sick and wrong. =O.

Umm I don't think Rikku's brother is her half brother. In FFX they just mentioned that Rikku's bother is Brother and they have the same father. Even being blood related or not it's still a little gross and trashy that Brother hits on Yuna.
 
I noticed Brother had a bit of a thing for Yuna too <.< Kinda nasty of him. Brother was always a craptastic character though, even in X.

I'm really surprised they kept that in the American version of the game though, usually stuff not widely accepted is taken out, like how in Sailor Moon they turned those two lesbain chicks into cousins. Eep, more cousinly love x__X
