As you may remem ber some years back a couple of chemists at the university of Utah sparked a furor when they claimed to have discovered a way to generate "cold fusion" process.

Now another chemist, an Italian is making similar claims with something he calls an "E cat".

I have my doubts.
Of course humanity needs fusion power desperately but I doubt we're anywhere near technologically being able to achieve it.
