Is there a cid in every ff game? Because all the ffs i have played has a character called cid in it.

Cid was introduced in FFII and has been in every FF ever since. The GBA and PSP versions of FFI mention a Cid as being the Ancient who created the Airship however it isn't in any older versions.

And yes the Cid in FFV is the crazy fool who built the Crystal amplifiers, fixes up the Fireship and Airship and runs around with his book fetish-ridden grandson who is oddly called Mid.

I wonder what the next Cid is going to be like?...

I wonder why they fell in love with the name Cid... Wedge and Biggs I can understand as they are Star Wars references.. But I wonder what was with Cid.
Still, it's awesome that there is a Cid in most FF games, but I just wonder why they took an interest in the name.
