Hello everybody, this is my first attempt at a fun trivia game thread. If you love Chrono Trigger, or if you think you know it all, then come here to test your knowledge of the game. I will admit that I don't know everything in the game by heart, but I have played well over 500 hours on this game with every ending possible at least thrice. So, I will post a new question daily and whoever answers correctly first will gain 5 points. I will post a total of five questions that will become increasingly difficult and more trivial. No using the internet to find the answers, just memory or if you have it readily available, the actual game. Also, answer with some specificity, basically, elaborate where available. I hope everyone has fun with this and if somehow I have made a mistake, let me know so I can update the information and we can resolve the problem. Now, let the games begin

What is Marle's real name?

Well, this was a little sad. I thought at least somebody would try to take the challenge. Well, if you just weren't sure of the answer, thus not responding, then I will tell you the answer. Her name was Princess Nadia of King Guardia XXXIII. This was discovered after you first travel through time to 600AD. Now, onto the next question.

In what way does the character Toma relate to the main characters?

Okay, well, I am guessing that either this is too boring, or nobody knows the answers. The answer to this one is Toma is Crono's descendant. It never proves it or says it outright, but it is strongly implied that that is the case. Well, I guess since I started this, I will have to follow through. Next question.

When in the game does Crono Talk?

Sorry about the poor placement and thanks for moving it to the right place. The answer to the previous question was in the girl talk ending where Crono talks. To get this ending, you must defeat Lavos after talking to Schala but before charging Marle's pendant. Anyway, I guess I should just give the last two questions together and see if anybody can answer them so I am not just talking to myself.

Where can you get 32 speed tabs quickly?

What was the theme behind the names of the three gurus; Melchoir, Gaspar, and Belthasar?

WE DONT KNOW :rage: jk

lol can you make th questions easier please. Most people arent even aware of the game. Then there are some like me who dont remember much XD

I believe they're all Biblical names, am I right? :hmmm: As far as the Speed tabs though, I'm not sure. I've played the game through about 6 or 7 times but never really looked into getting very many special items, hard-to-get items, cheat codes, or anything like that; I mainly play it for the story :D

As far as the issue of few people answering, it may be a little difficult to get a lot of people to respond to a Chrono Trigger quiz on a Final Fantasy-oriented forum :hmmm: Heck, sometimes it's even possible to go through a whole page of new posts on here that aren't even FF-related XD While everybody *should* play Chrono Trigger as it is awesome and a classic :yay:, it is also a very old game in the scheme of things compared with a lot of the other non-FF games that are discussed a lot on this forum, so a lot of people on here might not have played it. If they ever do a large-scale remake it might reenter the spotlight, but for now, sadly it doesn't seem to be as popular as it used to be :sad3:

I could make newer simpler questions, but it may not be too soon. I am starting school soon, going out of town, losing internet (which has been happening a lot lately anyway), and moving. I will get more posted within the next month, though.

Also, yes, they are biblical names, they are the three wise men. Also, the speed tabs thing was something I happened across before I ever had internet. Those computer things in the Black Omen can be charmed for a speed tab each and you can, if you go from future to past, charm them in each time plane. Also, I had thought about the fact that this was a final fantasy forum and that the game was old, but I just figured that since it was a square game, and an amazing one at that, that more people who were fans of the final fantasy genre would have played this game if they were fans like me. I sometimes forget that I am not like most people. I guess I just get a little depressed that most people just discard older games because the newer ones are prettier/shinier. Anyway, thanks for answering and even if others didn't reply or even know/care about this, it was fun throwing out some random trivia about one of my favorite games.
