Chrono Pulse

Just made a post, hope it was alright. I didn't use magic, because I didn't want to chance misusing it. Don't think gale force winds will prove very effective against this monster anyways, to be honest.

Dragon vs. wind manipulator: safe bet that dragon wins.

That's why there's 5 of us, each with a different power, and one of it.

Now, what would be REALLY cool would be if you somehow got the power to summon a pack of wolves for a really powerful strike.

Well that won't be happening, unfortunately. xD Hey, I did what I could. Once you read the post, you'll see that I managed to avoid an attack, but after landing an attack on it, it slipped in an extra, unexpected attack.

Nice! Meanwhile, I hit it while it was coming out of distraction and put it into distraction again.

Come on guys, teamwork! those of you with range, hit it from a distance and keep it distracted. Wolf, you got speed, hit it in the back! Keep pressure on it so it doesn't have a chance to fight back!

.... Way too much RPG gaming...

Right. :hmmm: Get in back then it has a chance to either 1) Crush me with it's feet, or 2) Tail Slam. ^^;

But maybe all in all a back attack would be most effective, but overall how was the quality of the post? >.>'

Are you doing that just so your latest attack, a Magic one, would deal more damage? Don't tell me you'll want to change it back when you use a physical attack. xD

I know, but if I dodge everything, that is a bit god like, I am dog like. xD Reckon he won't be caught off guard again like that, so at least the next attack he shouldn't take a hit. Don't worry guys, I know what I'm doing. ;)

naah, i figured with not having a weapon, and not all foes being balanced between physical and magic defence, it would be useful to have a mage/spellcaster (whatever you wanna call it) in the Squad

Cool. But you have focus on HP and Atk don't you Shadow? If there is still someone with those stat focuses, I will stick with HP and Def stats, I survive. =P

I'm the dude who has high physical tolerance. So, basically, I go first and take damage while you guys hit him as I distract.

EDIT: I got DEF and ATK, so I'm all about physical damage. Magic? Not so much.

Then again, darkness is a fail element for magic.

So, what two stats do you put your Focus on to increase twice as much as others? :hmmm: I originally wanted HP and Atk, but went with something different because it was already such a common couple of choices for the RPers. :/

it is kinda a fail Element for magic,

and while Y'all are drawing the monsters attention, i can blast at it from range with magic

I suppose, yeah. I don't suppose I could just get on it's back and slash at it in each of my turns (posts), and stay safely off of the ground, and where it couldn't really reach to attack me, while I put the claws to work?

That would make things easier... xP

It would infact make things easier, and make you better positioned to take down the enemy, but it would also make it harder for the rest of us, who would be throwing attacks in, and with you on the monsters back, we would have to avoid you with our attacks

It's just tough going in to attack, then trying to get away a safe distance before making another attack on it, and actually sell dodging it's attacks every time from here on, it'll seem pretty much too flawless, there's no safe way about doing that. :wacky:

taking it's tail off might actually work, and that way Crimson could come around the back and avoid getting munched by the beasty.

I Figure Staying away from it's sharp teeth and large tail is a safe bet, and i have already taken 10 HP of damage, which is a fifth of my current health, NOT GOOD!!!!

Well, same here, but I don't see myself getting hit more than one more time during this battle at worst. Well, if I get too many posts in, twice wouldn't be ruled out, then I would be at only 40% health if it got to that point...but it shouldn't, if you all do your parts in weakening the Dragon. :/
