SE reserved the name "Chrono Break" and considered releasing a remake of the original Chrono Trigger in 2012.
Its not going to happen, it was cancelled awhile ago, but we have a trailer for what it might have looked like.

Actually there's a Fan made version of this game out there, I have it on my comp somewhere but still didn't give it a shot
EDIT - Okay not same game and graphics, but same graphics as original Chrono Trigger goes by name "Crimson Echoes" and another by "Flames of Eternity"

Crimson Echoes serves as a sequel to CT, a proper one, that some fans/groups felt that CC didn't do. It was never properly released, and Alpha intro versions were leaked out onto the internet. So what you have isn't even the full product.
Later a Beta version (still unfinished but closed) was leaked in 2011.
Furthermore, Chrono Break was meant to be a sequel, not a remake. The game was already remade.. they contemplated adding a new installment to the line but decided against it.
