Chocobos!

Name of my chocobo is Starbucks (same as FFXIV) and he's vanilla. I haven't unlocked any other colors yet, so he's staying as is for some time.

I was hoping we could breed chocobos (really love the system in FF7) but oh well.

My chocobo is also vanilla and he's a proud beast, strong, fast, has been through a lot with me and the other chocobros.

My chocobo is red and lvl 10 max, he is called Ghostrider

Mine is also level 10, and he's bright pink, just like my Regalia.

Mine is white and I called her Skyla because I guess it is a random name from pokemon I liked! xD She's level 7.

I was so happy when I first got the Chocobos hahaha! Riding around on a chocobo is probably one of my favourite activities in FFXV! I coloured mine blue, and named him Buttstallion. I was a little disappointed with the chocobo races, I'm not sure why. I guess I was expecting more? Still love what's there but yeah.

I agree about the races. I don't think it's particularly bad, just a bit underwhelming. Hope they add more to it in future patches.

I also noticed that sometimes your chocobo will fight alongside you, but a lot of times they tend to run away. I'm curious as to what affects this... is it the type of greens I feed him while camping or is it just completely random? Watching them fight is quite cool since it reminds me of FFXIV; I just wish it happened more often.

Your chocobo staying to help is an ability they get at a certain level (there are a few of these). After that it's just a random dice roll each time they're around and a battle begins. Get a good roll, they'll perform one of their helpful actions. Get a bad one, and they'll run away.
