Characters you'd like to be in Dissidia FF

if you listen to kefkas voice hes squeely when hes overexcited and his voice goes deeper and more sinister when hes in a bad mood, watch the first video that introduces kefka, the one where hes talking to cloud of darkness, he stops cloud of darkness from blowing up someone, they have a short discussion then kefka gives off an evil glare and says with a much deeper and darker tone "Shes a special friend" obviously refering to Terra

for me that small clip really catches Kefka's unstable personality perfectly...

but back on topic, another character id like to see added, MOG!

you cant have a FF without the trademark moogle in it :P

Ahhh... But it's not an FF, It's an FF spin-off with FF characters and 'Final Fantasy' plastered on for sales. :P

Moogles and Chocobos are a Trademark on any Final Fantasy so expect them to appear on Dissidia as well. Speaking of which, Boco could be an crazy add. :wacky:

Several chocobos appear on Final Fantasy Tactics and they have some powerful attacks such as Choco Meteor.

If they aren't playable characters they could at least be an Summon in the game.
 
I want Rydia, Rosa, Yuna and alot of all the girls!!!!!! But Vayne would make a good villian just like in xii. Yunalesca would be cool also.

I think it'll be a crime if Chocobo's didn't even get a reference... One of the first things people think about when they think of FF is chocobo's....

I always hoped that Bartz Ex-Mode would have him ride Boko.... But obviously that seems not to be the case.
So a chocobo character in its own right would be awesome, if they did it. A moogle would be brilliant too, particulary Mog from FF6, because I want to see his dancing etc.

Now that we know that there ARE secret characters, confirmed by the inclusion of Shantotto to the roster, I'd like to add some new suggestions... :D

Well they're including FF11 now, with Shantotto, which means there may be characters from other games outside of the 1-10 limit they had previously set...

So for FF11:
Shantotto (confirmed) and the Shadow Lord as the villain?

FF12:
Balthier and Gabranth? (Then again, not really so much of a connection between the two that I know of, but Balthier would be a lot funner than Basch, and Gabranth a lot funner than Vayne... so yeah).

FF13:
God knows... We don't know these characters yet!

FF Tactics:
Ramza and Delita?


Personally I'm not too fussed about FF12 or FF Tactics characters. Some were good etc, but the Ivalice universe had a very different feel to the rest of the FF universe and the Dissidia story would fit less to them, in my opinion. It would be difficult to fit them in, though I'm sure they'd try if they wanted to.

I would however like to see more characters from games already used... but such I think is probably unlikely, unless the characters truly are iconic...

For example...
Mog (FF6) - the perfect example of a Moogle. Will get his race represented and will also be fun to play.. Dances could awesome :D.

Cid (FF7 or FF4) - either of these cids would be fun to play... But I think to most people Cid from FF7 is the most iconic, plus he is a dragoon job so he would be great fun to play.. Either way this game is in serious need of a Cid.

I'd suggest Wedge and Biggs, but nah.... You'd need two people, and their fighting would be naf (even the orignal FF6 soldiers). So as far as representation goes, I wouldn't mind seeing them as NPC's.

Gilgamesh (FF5) - For his sheer awesomeness and that he is a universal dimension hopper himself now... Leaping into the FF8 universe and the FF12 universe as the same character. Gilgamesh is truly iconic, and his personality is great too. Not to mention that Big Bridge would make an awesome arena, and anyone who knows the character can imagine the music that would play for that. :D

Secret Characters or new adds until XIII?

FFXI - Shantotto and Shadow Lord
Don't know neither, but Shadow Lord sweared an oath against the humans, and he looks like a badass villain, he is also claimed to be the best swordsman of Galka. (his race)

FFXII - Basch and Gabranth.
They are twin brothers, as most people know Basch was supposed to be the main Hero of FFXII.

Gabranth, he is the most cool Judge Magister and he shares a huge rivalry with Basch, another reason to enter the cast, he also is famous for his unique Sword, his Ex-mode could be, join the two swords as one like he does in various occasions in FFXII.

FFXIII - Noctis and Lighting.
Altought a little is know, those two are the most well-know and famous charactes from FFXIII, I believe they wouldn't REVEAL the antagonist from FFXIII, seeing as Dissidia comes first than FFXIII.

FF Tactics - Ramza and Elmdore.
Regardless disliking Ramza he is the main character from FF tactics, and Elmdore sounds more like the true Antagonist than St.Ajora/Ultima. Even tought I still would prefer her to be the Main Antagonist, as she can transform herself into Lucavi. :monster:

FF Tactics Advance - Marche and Remedi or Judge Master Cid.
Just some guesses, if they added any character from FFTA.
 
ok I'll elaborate more!

Gilgamesh- Because I'd love to see him remade form his FFV appearance, plus if he was playable think about it!

Cid- Just because every FF game needs a Cid
 
I would like Vivi,Vincent Valentine and Kain to be some of the heroes.
I want Kuja,Seymour and Gilgamesh as some of the enemies.
I would also like to be able to play with some of the bosses from old final fantasy games.

Kuja is already confirmed for the game, and was one of the first ones to be confirmed.

Seymour was considered, but they decided against him as he didn't have as much of a relationship with Tidus as Jecht did. But I guess he may be possible as a secret character or additional add.. But I dunno what they'd do with him.

Gilgamesh is awesome. A lot of us want Gilgamesh and I think he would be a great add, not just for extra representation of FF5, but for showing links between the FF universes even more.

Ugh, his voice sounds awful. I hope in the English version they pick a better voice actor. I don't like Kefka's design very much. His face looks similar to Christopher Nolan's The Joker. I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura just saw The Dark Knight and copied it. I know that Kefka's design was based off of Amano's Kefka design, but still, his face isn't that extreme.

I would have loved to have seen Celes from FFVI. I was hoping that they would choose her since she also had a dark past with Kefka, but Terra is fine as well. <3

I'd like to see Seymour in Dissida as well, but that's not going to happen. =[ Square Enix should have done FFX-2. Have FFX-2 Yuna vs Seymour.
 
The characters I would like to see in Dissidia Final Fantasy are Rydia, Rosa, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Ashe, lulu and Garnet But although this will not happen Ashe has a chance of getting in Dissidia.
 
Hm I would totally love to see Aerith and Yuffie, and maybe Vincent :rolleyes: if not those then definitely Sora:P
 
I would've love to see Auron and Yunalesca in Dissidia. That would've been an interesting mix but then again, it will never happen. I just think Auron is too awesome not to be in this game. It was unclear whether or not Yunalesca was truly a villain or not but in my book she was one tough oppenent to overcome in FFX and I think she would've been a good addition to this game especially with her character design.

Oh yeah... and Seifer. Him going one on one against Squall would've been great too. I just love Seifer.

Who I want to be in "Dissidia"...

I would love to be Cloud!! He's my number one favorite fighter. But I also wanna play Leon (Squall), and Zidane! I would play a little bit of Tidus, too, but not as often as the others! :D I've always favored them, and they are amazing characters that SquareSoft/Square-Enix came up with. That's my reason I would play them. *nods*

Other than the favorites, I would play all the characters, since I believe that each story is different depending on which character you pick. *nods* But of course, that's what I think.
