Character Trigger points

I don't know why I'm having a hard time nailing everyone but Squall's trigger points on regular attack. Can someone tell me when to press the trigger button for everyone but Squall, thanks.

Theres only Squall that has it as far as I'm aware, oh and Seifer but he doesn't really count...so, yeah

Do you mean when you press the R1 button......?

If not then I have no idea what you are talking about

I think Squall is the only character who HAS trigger in regular attacks (aside from Seifer, and Irvine's Limitbreak mode)

You have to press R1 just when he's about to strike.

ok cool. i just thought maybe i could do a double hit with other chars. i know how to do squalls everytime thats easy. thanks.

Actually, there may be a trigger for the other chars. When I press R1 with Quistis and Selfie, the trigger actually occurs. I don't get it right consistently though. As to how to do it and if it really exists? I don't really know

Exactly, it is not consistent because it isn't a trigger.
GunBlade is a gun and a sword. What do guns have?

With the other characters it's just a critical hit, not a result of pressing R1 at the correct time.

I was wondering why i couldn't hit R1 and make their attacks better

and yea when ever i used to play FFVIII i found it was only Squall and Seifer who's regular attacks had the 'trigger' ability
