British = Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales. Unless you can speak all four of their respective languages, you fail at fluent British.Well, I do speak fluent British, since I'm a Master at picking up the foreign accent.
Notice the way I capitalized the word Master. Yes, I am the TRUE Master of Foreign Accent!
Let me hear this so-called Scottish accent and I'll decide if it's real, or one of those dramatic/exaggerated ones you Americans think we have.Other than the Chinese accent, which startles me (no offence, China), Scottish startles me more than anything.
I had recently found out that I have a Scottish accent, as told by my friends, and it startled me so much, I fell to the ground. I mean, if they told me that before, and it weren't serious and stuff, I would've wet my pants laughing.
Oooh. Bad move. >_>
