Calling all 90's kids!

I don't really remember a lot about my Childhood, but I remember wanting to do the Pink Ranger for the longest time when I was a kid. xD

My mom didn't let me watch Power Rangers. Looking at it now, I can see that I didn't miss a whole lot.

I liked your basic nerd shit, the stuff that got you picked on at school. I absolutely loved sticking my hands in Pumpkin pie and eating it all. Mum wasn't very happy because I always got up at night and looked through the fridge when I was a wee little tyke.

Pfft, you know what was better? Carving pumpkins for Halloween and eating the seeds you carved out.

man the 90's were good, I remember my SNES and my N64 most. I also seem to remember originally thinking that Digimon was a cheap ripoff of Pokemon, but then deciding that the former actually had a plot.

you did, they had the power rangers movie, that was really good, they fought a guy made out of purple jelly and did some sky diving.
its complete rubbish, but its great when your six.

and there was sonic and the evil doctor robotnix.

and action man and the evil doctor x.

pokemon has a plot. catch pokemon defeat team rocket.

I was in the late 90s. But I loved to watch Sailor Moon, but ever since it was canceled, I was stuck with watching crap-ass teletubbies.
I got my first FF game in 1996, FFVII, and played it all alone, even if I was very young at that time. I will never reveal my true age at ALL.

the teletubbies are great. my friend had a brother who was a lot older and watched teletubbies when he was drunk and laughed the whole way through.
consequently i found it hilarious too
time for tubby bye bye
time for tubby bye bye
they would pretend that they had gone, then po would start giggling and the anouncer would say eh-o to all of them and then they would go

Guess people don't have ages in Lollyland.
I grew up in the 90's and it was a great time to be a gamer. Sure you couldn't get online but I think it helped the arcades as that was the only place to interact with dozens of people while playing games.

Sorry. I find it humorous at ones stress levels rising over something so little.

Anyways back on topic. I witnessed Mario being born, Samus from Metroid and many others. One of the great things about growing up in the 90's is the fact I kept some of my old stuff. And have the original Atari, Nes ect..

Meh, I prefer Ultraman to Power Rangers. As for Sonic...oh, that was love. My first exposure to the Sonic universe was actually with the Archie comics and the show. As for Pokemon...loved it. I still do :monster:

Mmm...Sailor Moon. Now there was a show that kept my perveted 8 year old imagination active. And DBZ was a great show to pretend to play with your friends. Nothing better than running around in your yard yelling "KAAAAAMEEEEEEHAAAAAAMEEEEEHAAAAAAA!" and hopping all around.

Oh and btw, VII came out in '97. How did you manage to play it a year before it came out?

Bloody hell. Faith's post brought back so many memories of those wonderful years!

Fucking Tazos! XD

My main 90's thing would be Goosebumps. God I loved those books; we even had them read to us in our class about... damn 11 years ago now? I feel so old. D=

Oh man I used to looove the Goosebumps books!! My favourites were The Haunted School and Beware of the Snowman, but I have millions under my bed somewhar...

Used to watch it on tv religiously aswell..

ahh goosebumps, it was on every saturday. and if i couldnt watch it id get my dad to tape it.

Nothing better than running around in your yard yelling "KAAAAAMEEEEEEHAAAAAAMEEEEEHAAAAAAA
i was more of a vegeta guy myself, so i yelled galic gun!!!
and then pretending to measure all your friends power levels

I always preferred Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon to the Galic Gun. It was just more fun to do :wacky:

Oh lawds, ya know how when you're little sometimes you'll hear things wrong? Well I used to think Krillin's name was "Grillin" and Vegeta's name was "The Cheetah"

i heard all their names just fine so maybe its just you ???

spirit bomb was the most fun to do, holding your arm in the air for ages, gathering all the energy from all the planets, then using it.
actually i remeber one kid who decided to attack the classroom with a spirit bomb

I remember all the old Hannah-Barbera cartoons. The cartoons now are just dumb...

I don't know if I should be in an 80's kids section or not coz I can't remember if I watched these shows then or not but I was obsessed with

Thundercats
Dungeons and Dragons
Mister Ben
Button Moon!!
Bag Puss
Fraggle Rock
Thomas the Tank engine (so my mum keeps reminding me xD)

I remember I used to read alot of point horror books, im sure they were 90's lol
Oh and i loved Reboot aswel

Cartoons/kid shows these days are poor

I cant ABIDE the teletubbies and all that pap

My megadrive was the best xmas present I ever got EVER!!!

And then going off my childhood in general there was lots of tree climbing afew broken bones and MANY stupid scars (running into a lampost and getting a lovely scar on my chin to name but one xD)

There was NO internet at school at ALL. I hated computers, I phailed miserably at IT. Gimme a pen and paper any day of the week xD
