FMV's I feel were best done during VIII, IX and X they used them even when not really needed, and VII were far and few inbetween

It was between 8 and 9 for me. They both had such good FMVs that added a heck of a lot to the games. The opening cutscenes spring to mind most of all, but almost all of them are done so well.

I went for FF8 in the end, but it could have been either.
