Has anyone here seen this movie? I've heard it was really good and was wondering your opinions. No spoilers please! =O. I just bought it. lol.

Do you like this movie and what did you think of it?

I've seen.It was..."unlike" any other I've seen so far.If you're okay with homosexuality then you should watch it,it's a great movie and the actors play their roles very good.

It's a very good movie. The hype for it when it came out got rather ridiculous, it is not some genre-changing earth shattering life-changing film. It's a well-acted (especially from Heath Ledger) quiet drama from Ang Lee who excels at this sort of thing. The ending is very moving too.

Omfg. I just watched it last night. =(. It was good and yet sad.

It was very emotional. Although I thought the beginning was quite boring. It's not a movie I can watch over and over...it has to be in certain periods. Overall it was a good movie though.

I wanted more sex! MOAR! </3. lol. Heath and Jake did a really good job in this movie. Especially Heath.

The movie IS about two Men who went on a mountain together for money and ended up falling for one another.

They at one point had wives and children. =/. Just two men caring deeply for one another.

Also, that post had nothing to do with the movie. If it's on the gay side and you won't watch it, why post? >_<;;

Had everything to do with it. If somebody doesnt like that sorta thing (which alot dont) then it's good heads up. Not that I mind either way. Also Heath wasn't that good. The guy might be dead and got real reconition for one role posthumously, but it doesnt make an awesome performance.

Still a half decent film though. Watch it when you can.

Personally, I liked the film. I admit: I first watched it, out of morbid curiousity, because I kept hearing all this idiotic junk about: Oooo two men in love with one another, bad bad bad, don't watch it ! Boo hisss. Anyway, I found it to be a beautifully tragic love story. Very very sad. Bah, now I want to watch it again. Hum. Also - the hot man sex was the icing on the cake for me. More please. :monster:

If you're not freaked out or against homosexuality then it's a really good movie. Oh, and you like romance/drama.

I say go for it and rent it.

Whether he's dead or not is immaterial to me, I still think he was very good in it. I'm not saying it's the finest acting performance ever, just that this might have been his best role (yes, even more so than The Dark Knight) before his death.

Its one of those unique movies that you defo have to see and experience. The cast are great and Heath does do a great job as charliepanayi has mentioned, it could top the Joker performance for me.

But yeah, its one you have to see and it is a beautiful film. Not heard 1 bad review about it.

I wasn't really too fond of this movie.

It could of been that a lot of it had to do with the fact that I don't really care to see men kissing other men that was a huge turn off for me, but I still sat through the whole thing anyway.

It had it's moments but I just couldn't understand how they could do what they did to their wives and children.

Regardless of the fact that being gay was shunned on more back then, then it is now and they felt the need to hide it. They still cheated on their families and hurt them in the end.

Cheating is the worst thing anyone could do in a relationship in my opinion.

Wasn't really a great movie in my eyes.
