Ive just got to braskas final aeon, and this isn't my first playthrough, but its been a few years since i have completed it, and i just have to say how disappointingly easy it was. I never remembered it being that easy, and even though my team was well trained i still expected a little challenge. Now i wanted your guys opinions on what you thought of the final few bosses..sins mouth, seymour and braskas final aeon etc? I smashed them all with no effort.

The first time I played the game, Braska's final aeon was an absolute nightmare for me. I hated it so much, because I simply couldn't defeat it.

However, on other playthroughs, when I've actually done a lot of training, I've found him to be quite easy. It's still a decent fight, but there's never any real danger. That's why I think Dark Aeons are in the game, tbh, it gives those who power-train something to fight against that will provide a challenge.

The last i went up against a dark aeon i got my ass handed to me lol. Ive spent 61 hours on this current playthrough, but if i tried my luck with the dark aeons im pretty sure i wouldnt stand a chance. Don't you have to break the damage limit cap to be in for a fighting chance?

Braskas final Aeon was so easy. I pwned his first form so bad it was not even funny. Well it was all thanks to my Magus Sisters and Anima. Lol if I never got them I would still be stuck on overdrive SIN. The Yu pagoyas are not even good at healing him XD.

I didnt have either of them aeons and i still wiped the floor with him. I think i got lucky on overdrive sin with yojimbo, did i spell that right?

Not necessarily, though it'd certainly speed the process up. Dramatically. The main thing you'd require to beat any of them is an appropriately set up piece of armour, with abilities that counter their skill. Hard to get it all though, in the sense that it takes a fair while.

To answer your initial question, I didn't have that much trouble with him on any occasion. By the time I'd come close to beating X, I'd already started and completed a number of other Final Fantasies, so training was a concept not foreign to me. A lot of healing was involved during the first playthrough, but I didn't know what to expect so I was a little overly cautious. :wacky:

In any case, my personal Aeons were by far the strongest and most challenging story-based bosses in the game... even if you
can't actually die
.

I think that given how hard some of the other bosses were (Yunalesca, Seymour at Gagazet), the final series of bosses were a little weak by comparison. Especially compared to how hard some of the final bosses on other games were (FFIV, FFVII, FFIX).

I think plotwise though, the final series of fights on FFX are amazing, so that more than makes up for it in comparison.

Oh my gosh yes, seymour at gagazet was so hard on the first playthrough...i had to restart because i was so crap...haha. Its abit of a let down having the final bosses so easy, but then again there are some super hard bosses in the game, so at least its not all a breeze.

I always have trouble against gagazet seymore. No matter how good my guys are, I always get my ass handed to me.

The final boss was cake compared to that one. I have absolutely no trouble against him.

the first time I fight braska's aeon during a playthrough its hard yes. BUT when I come back when most of my stats are 255(all you need is attack for this basically) i can take care of him with 1 hit!! And yes Seymour is also an enormous pain in the ass for me too!

The final aeon was tuff, nuff said, but then he made me find out about Omega ruins when i went to train to beat him. Then i beat him relatively easy when i tried again. He beat me around 5 times before i finally owned him. I was horrifed when i saw that he had two forms, each with their individual HP, tbqh

Seymour was a walk in teh park. I had no strategy, just strong magic attacks and physical attacks. I was wondering about those orbs a bit untill i found out that they were HELPING him -__-

Sin's Fin :-)wacky:) was a arse for a WHILE. It was a pain to have to fight the battle knowing that i would die if i did not hurry. I got lucky with him to be honest

I disagree.

I found Braska's Final Aeon pretty difficult on my first playthrough, specifically because I hadn't power levelled. I hadn't found The Magus Sisters or Anima, all I had done was find Yojimbo (through an accident really) and just kept on going through the game as per normal.

He gave me a good scare at times and it was a fun battle, but it all went downhill as you had to fight your aeons and due to the fact that you simply COULD NOT DIE (I mean WTF!?!? Where's the challenge!?).

The Aeons fight was in no way epic due to the fact that you kinda feel as if you just have to go through the motions of just beating them again with absolutely no requirement of strategy and/or luck!

Those fights COULD have been awesome if there was a level of challenge involved in it all, but the Auto-Life was just an awful and pathetic cop-out.

I'm not really so sure but I guess, some of the FF game that was created, you can easily beat the final boss, but they are hidden bosses, on the game that are much tougher, harder, and having long HP compare to those you fight at the end of the game. For example, in FFX International the last boss is i think Yu Yevon this one is very easy to defeat but their is one boss in where much harder to defeat, and if i am not mistaken that will be Pandemonium. In FFX-2, Vegnagun and Shuyin are the last boss on the game but they are other bosses that are hard to beat like Torema and Chaku that can be found at the Bevel level 100. And in FFXII, the last boss is Vayne Solidor, which is obviously easy to defeat, but some of the enemies like OMEGA MARK XII, and some of the monster on the HUNT like Yiazmat, are hard to beat.

I hope this information help some of you

I really wish FFX would have leveled Braska's Final Aeon to the players level. My first playthrough I found it almost impossible to beat. He was quite difficult and I usually was left with only a few members standing at the end of battle. On the other hand, during my second playthrough and beyond I found it incredibly easy. It really does depend on how far you have leveled and what items you have gathered. I would like to go back and playthrough this game and once again find the difficulty I had in the first place but that would mean me skipping a good bit of items and training.

It's not THAT hard.It took me a couple tries.I kept training my characters and I beat him in the end.The sad part was that the only character I had that was over 9999 hp was Wakka and I rarely used him,so I had more of a challenge.

I beat him in the first try without mutch any spezial training. It was still hard though. And you can think about this battle whatever you like but the design of Braskas aeon und the scene in wich he pulls his Sword out of his chest is pure awsomeness

The only hard one IMO was the sin which you must defeat fast (before he uses some kind of "Game Over attack"). But after trainning for something like 2 - 4 hours and getting: Ultima, magic boost, 1 mp cost and double cast with Lulu, he was quite piece of cake.
The final boss beat me the first time because I chose a party with low HP.
The second time I used Trio Of 9999 and easily beat him.

So yeah, I guess they all were easy.

i got lucky on that sin mouth, before he overdrives.
i used yojimbo, i think his name is, and after a few attacks, got a one hit kill attack.
so luck for me i guess lol

I thought it was an adequate challenge. I had gone through and found/upgraded the best weapons and found all of the Aeons, but I don't remember Braska's Final Aeon being all that easy. Having Auto-Life while fighting all of the Aeons after that was what made it easy.

Seymour Flux (I think that's the one at Mt. Gagazet) was the hardest boss in the game for me. Yunalesca wasn't a whole lot of fun, either.

I personally never had any trouble with Braska's Final Aeon, or the fights with the Aeons following. He was nothing but a giant panzy, but idk, I never didn't train at least a little bit in every area so maybe I've just always been ahead. Tbh though I think Yunalesca and Seymour on Gagazet were much harder and that Braska's Final Aeron could have been a little harder. Further more, the Aeon fights after Braska's Final Aeon were retarded. You don't even have to try, they give you Auto-Life, even after you die it's reapplied. The final fights really take little to no effort to finish.
