EDIT: HOW DARE YOU MR. HAL MOVE MY STUFF WITHOUT FIXING THE YOUTUBE TAG =P.

Well after following this game for some day the release date is slated for October 20, 2009.

I am a bit pumped at this because it is an RPGFPS that is four person compatible. I'm a huge fan of this, because it gives a lot of interactivity for fellow gamers.

The characters are explainable, but I would rather give you the video below in order to illustrate how awesome this will be. Don't you love how beautiful the cell shading job is?

Anyways, can't wait.. I'll see you online!</object>

Yeah Im pre-ording it from my new work place. Basically first person shooters had a bay with RPGs :D It looks amazing, cant wait!

Going to pick up my copy today, I will write a game review dependent on how much I play in the next week or two. I guarantee to make it a juicy one =).

Anyways, I'm expecting huge things from this.

ENVY!!! Cant believe you have it already. This Friday is the day :D Im torn between getting this and some Microsoft points I need for MC2.

So me and my fiance played this game for around 2 + hours last night and I have to say it takes some getting used to at first, but I can honestly say game is heavily addictive. I set up my character as Brick the Berserker and she was Lilith. No she didn't choose her because of a female character, she usually chooses the most masculine, but in this case she wanted a high damage class.

I can tell you now from what I know, Brick is not a stand alone man, but can muscle through most anything with a good counter part. Lilith is a very high damage type of player, she can use her abilities to speed up and stealth across and assassinate with shocks. Brick on the other hand can go in frenzies and beat down people while rapidly regenerating his life. I have collected already around 20+ guns, and know there is around 20,000+?! I have yet to confirm that but so far, the game is pretty amazing.

Just be sure to do your research if you are playing solo or in a group. There are a lot of group specializations and pretty much only one way to solo for your class. As a Berserker, I'm going to be taking all the damage while everyone else inflicts catastrophic hurt on the enemies in which I'm attacking.

I don't want to spoil anything.. so get to playing.. as of tonight I should be able to round up 2 more real life friends, dependent on if Play N trade comes through for them.

This game definitely looks interesting but I'm not sure it's for me. I'm not a huge fan of loot collection or grinding. Even if it's done well, it seems to be all the game is really about. It's not necessarily good or bad, I'm just not sure if it'll be addicting for me to stick with it.

Many game reviews seem to cite Dead Rising or Too Human as similar experiences, two games which I definitely was not a fan of... so I guess I'll have to wait and see. Maybe with a price drop.

Im stuck guys. K, Ive followed the robot to a small hut and Ive killed all the bandits that were in the area, however, nothing is happening. Ive run round and gathered all the items, and yet the robot is just stood outside a hut doing nothing ... Please help guys, its pissing me off having to come off my XBox and doing it all again :|

In this order... do the following (because it is hard to tell you where you might be)

1) Follow the robot to the DNA machine (stores your character)
2) Follow the robot to the next destination (opens the first gate for you and you kill the bandits) make sure you go up to the robot afterwards for him to move around.
3) Kill everything in the area (the bandits) and keep following the robot around until you get to the garage where dr. zed is .. (maybe about 5 minutes after the intro part where you had to go to the DNA machine) - Hit the button to open the garage.
4) Get the first mission and follow the robot to the next gate. Right before he opens it, he gets hit by an RPG from the bandits.
5) You have to kill the bandits then the little cortana girl (don't know who she is yet) will come and tell you to find a part to repair him.
6) From here on out it is self explainatory.

DONE IT! Thanks Shu. I looted the town the first 2 times, then I decided not to and he opened up the shop to see the doc. How completely random!!!?? But thanks Shu. Im level 6 now and Im enjoying it, had to take a break lol!

Hey no problem miss, always glad to help. I'm only lvl 16 myself.. so I am still learning the ropes.. got any other questions.. I'll do my best to answer!

How far is everyone on this? I'm level 26-ish now in the hub town of New Haven and surrounding areas.

So far I'm a lvl 45 Berserker, lvl 25 Soldier and lvl 20 soldier.

I'm still loving this game... every second of it, so many damn guns..

To be honest, I love this game more than all the other loot-'em-ups I've played, including the Diablo series. Probably because the combat is more complex and enjoyable than 'point, click, kill'.

Indeed it is in my top 3 games of all time for xbox360. Beats the heck out of Halo or MW2 that's for sure.

Borderlands was really fun and addicting for a while.
I loved constantly getting upgrades to my weapons and knowing that every time I leveled up, it wasn't just tiny stat boosts, but adding to my strategy.

The only reason I haven't finished my first playthrough yet is because the difficulty of the final boss came out of nowhere.

At Lv.36 (Soldier), the mission difficulty was Lv.33, telling me "This won't be terribly hard, but a slight challenge for the last mission."
Then I get to the boss (who is still a level or two below me), who manages to reduce me to mincemeat in three hits. Literally. Three. Hits.
Which come out of nowhere and I have no clue what in the world I'm getting hit by.
If it weren't for this, I'd be on my second playthrough already.

I just bought this game on Monday, and I'm at level 17 with the Siren right now. I haven't used the other 3 yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll be. I watched my friend using the Hunter and he was like level 30ish, but it still looked cool. I'm curious to see what all of them are like. But so far, no complaints with the Siren. Her Phasewalk ability comes in pretty handy at times. I've used it to evade a horde of skags, and I've used it to get closer to enemies with my shotty and wreck them at close range.

Anyone here have Borderlands for the PC? I just got the game recently (lvl. 7 Soldier), and I want to know if anyone wants to try a co-op. I'm not sure if whether it's possible to play online on the PC with someone on xbox live, though.
