Blues!

Personally I love the blues. The bset genre imho.
SRV is awesome, I'd add Clapton to that list, and ZZ top even.
 
I don't listen to much Blues, but I do know ZZ Top, and I agree, they are pretty good. I'll take a listen to the other musicians that you mentioned.
 
Im lovin muddy waters, bb king, bo diddley, some gary moore or chris rea, got a couple of random cds with loadsa stuff on. oh, Howlin Wolf as well!
 
I absolutely love blues. The Johnson Brothers Band, ZZ Top (Of course), Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones have some great bluesy tunes. Maaan, can't get enough.
 
Eric Clapton, ZZ top, Stevie Ray Vaughan. all of them are absolute greats
 
I've got a compilation CD with a load of really old blues stuff on it. "Key to the Highway" by Big Bill Broonzy, "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" by Bessie Smith, "Outside Women Blues" by Blind Joe Reynolds, and a song called "It Hurts Me Too", but I forget who does that, are all my favourites.

In terms of the more modern stuff, Clapton and SRV are my favourites, but I spent the best part of yesterday evening watching BB King videos on Youtube.
