Multiple Platforms BlazBlue Calamity Trigger

So wait You actually got to stage 12? How did you beat Unlimited Nu? It will be helpful. Cause I can get the Leonidas and welcome to the Azure Nightmare acheivements. I trying to 1000G this game. It will be a piece of cake xDDD. 630 out of 1000G right now. Although im still playing Star Ocean TLH too xDDD

I just am good with Jin. I like to Ride the Ice if you know what I mean and if all else fails, spam your cheat stick ha ha.
It would be nice to 1000/1000 Blazblue, It looks easy from some of the websites I have been to, all you need is a spare controller and a strategy.
 
Yeah it looks really easy Im only missing 4 offline acheivements and the rest is all online. I need Gold again Xd. I will own online. Also Im really good with Jin too. I like riding the ice too and freezing the enemies. But Nu just got lucky. Was it just me or Unlimited Hakumen was cake? Hakumen is the strongest at power in the whole game. Btw nice image

Hakumen is always easy for me tbh, the only person I cannot beat is Unlimited Ragna.

Also, All I need is Carl's and Taokaka's Story Clears until I cleared all the availible stories.
 
What is the point of Miss Litchis teachings Is it just for fun and big laughs. Or does it actually unlock somethingÉ How many episodes of Miss Litchis teachings are there? Is it me or is it so easy to do distortion drives and astral heats. Literally all you have to do is flick the right stick. For Astral Heat all you have to do is wait till the enemy is at 20 percent health and flick the right stick downwards. Easy! I beat Score attack!!!! finnaly

Yep I said it. Alot more stuff will be in the European Version of Blazblue. Their is still a possibility for these characters to be DLC in the North American Version. Small rant....
About flicking the thumb sticks in order to perform special moves.....I would consider that the easy way out. I ignore the right thumb stick when playing and I know how to do all the moves of my character (Jin) with the pad alone. It didn't take me long to learn and I'm sure everyone else can do it. Each time I play against someone and I see them flicking the damn thing it just plain pisses me off.

I suppose people that are new at the game and use the thumb stick is fine to me, but people that are already experienced at the game and still use the thumb stick aren't even worse my time. Kinda harsh I'd say but if you spend so much time in the game then I am sure you can learn all types of moves on the pad alone. <3
 
Well, screw holding back for the EU release, I picked up the game at the weekend and I'm enjoying it so far.

Looks like I'll be maining Bang, Tager and Litchi from what I've played, maybe with Tao or Ragna thrown into the mix as well. I haven't actually touched Carl or Nu much as of yet, and I don't plan on ever using Nu for anything other than completion....cheap little piece of work...
Carl's just......blergh, can't get the hang of him to save myself.
 
This game has some really fun gameplay but there are so many cheap ass Arakunes and V13s. They just piss me off! I kinda feel like playing Blazblue right now. I use Noel Litchie and Hakumen. Why does anyone not use Carl online. Hes the remainin guy I need to fight to get ruler of kagusuchi:ness:
 
xD That's because Carl is the hardest character to use
Like so many of my friends want to use him (I want to use him to) but it seems we can't get the hang of using him along with Nirvana in a good synchronized way, its hard to keep them both in battle and to place them where they need to be to make an effective double team x.x;;
 
Ya Gabriel I really agree with you that Carl is really hard to use and I still have not encountered one online xD. Also I can not wait till the new dlc characters come out. I think it will be Hazama(bad guy form) Kokonoe and more! This game is still epic. I wish I can play you thouh but I only have it on 360 :sad2: <333

I play against my friends, I'm pretty good and hardly loose against them,. =)
The game is so addicting really xD The graphics are so beautiful to me and the characters so original. I cannot wait for the new characters to come out! Kokonoe would be a good addition I'd say, Tager doe stalk about her a lot and yeah.
 
I just got my copy of BlazBlue for the PS3 (import as the EU release in next feb) the other day and i have to say i really impressed graphics are amazing both the 3D level and the main attraction of 2D sprite perfect match. This is game is too addictive and the main bonus a fighting game with a very good story has got all the boxes ticked with characters, gameplay and story. i can not wait until the next game is released but that is not to bad as i've got BlazBlue to play. i have to say im not good nor am i am bad at the game. just contact me psn neroseraph

The closest I ever come to making it with Carl is randomly getting his clap-loop on some poor shmoe, only for me to mess it up as he's just about dead, and then him destroying me as I can't play Carl properly...boo.

Continium Shift sounds awesome though, Nu, Rachel and Arakune nerfed? Yes please. Hakumen, Bang and Tager buffed? Oh yes! Also <3 Hazama. I just wish they'd throw Jubei into the mix.

@NeroSeraph: I'll give you a few friendly matches some time. I'm decent with most of the cast but certainly not competitive level or anything. My PSN is SunAndSteel. Same for anyone looking for some matches on the PS3 version, just give us a buzz.
 
I saw the PSP Calamity Trigger game at my Gamestop, so could I get away with playing that instead of the PS3 version? I can understand water-downed graphics, and I've heard there's MORE stuff in the PSP version, but was anything taken out? Japanese audio, cutscenes, etc? And would I do the game justice by buying the console version then?

Or could I just bypass Calamity Trigger and get Continuum Shift, or will I be really lost without playing the first game? Dx
 
From what I've heard, since I don't own the PSP version, online play is the only thing taken out. However everything else is the same from the console version. Anyway you should play CT first because if you're interested in the BlazBlue story, then I am sure CS will reference CT quite a bit since CT ended on a cliff-hanger.
