I'd love wings, but I think I'd prefer them to be part of a wing back-pack or a suit. I would want them detachable anyway.

I don't want bio-mechanical wings fused to my spine or anything.

Wings could get in the way when you don't want to fly. Imagine getting on the bus. Standing at the urinal. Ordering something at a bar or buying something at a shop. Imagine also falling over on your side. All of these everyday things could be difficult with huge wings.
