What is the biggest compliment that anyone has ever given you?
*keep it non-vulgar, folks*

Mine would have to be when someone just walked up to me and said "Wow! You're smart." Awesome. :D
I keep saying I'm dumb and finally someone just blew that cover right off. :P

Oh, and I don't mean those compliments your mom pays you whenever you dress up nicely for prom or something. ;)
 
Ah, there was this one gothic chic who told me, "People are jealous of you because you're freakin' smart." That was back in 8th grade though, lol :rolleyes: But yeah, that was a huge compliment because she was like a gothic, right?! :O

Ok I'm kidding. I guess in a way, it's different hearing it from other peers that's your age. I mean, if someone way older told me that, I would probably shrug it off. The fact that someone around your age recognizes your potential is quite something. And I mean, people jealous of me? No one gets jealous of me. o_O

She was probably on crack. But still, I like the compliment. xD

lol She must've been tone deaf. My greatest compliment was when I was lounging around my back yard during a pool party and the class valadictorian came up to me and said "God, as smart as I am, you know Eric's going to be a success just by the way he handles himself." Cool shit.

From my boyfriend a few weeks ago. Im not use to getting complements about how good looking I am cause I dont see myself in that light really. I have low self confidence, so a comment like that can have a deep impact on me.
 
Hmm... "You're doing a lot of things right, and you're getting somewhere in your life through all the hard work you're doing."

That really helped. I'm usually hard on myself, with a bit of a negative attitude towards myself. It feels good to know people think I'm doing okay and stay positive...I can be more positive that way, also.
 
A straight up "You're beautiful and smart".

Honestly, I was shocked.
 
I've been called a legend at work on a few occasions. It really made my day that, because it had been a hard one and I was really stressed from it.
Also, the time when my gf said I was handsome in my suit for my VIth Form leavers prom. Everyone likes a compliment like that.
 
Blah, I don't usually remember compliments I get. All I remember is: "Your so beautiful, smart, funny, and your a unique person." I usually take it as: 'Oh your just being nice, aren't you?"
 
Some random dude outside told me "You walk just like a super model, you know that?"
 
i remember two, besides all the ones about "whoa! you drew that?! thats awesome!"

but anywho, the two biggest ones for me are "girl, you have some pretty long eyelashes." and "you are too shy and quiet, but i give you props for being pretty"

i liked that a lot :P

 Back when I was around 17, someone that I worked with who was in their 50’s said that I was handsome, extremely well mannered and mature for someone my age (at the time).

Now most of the time I'm told that I'm Sweet, Cute and Adorable. :rolleyes:

Just cuz i look like a statistic doesnt mean i am one. I love how old ppl dont hold out any hope for our generation.
