I do not know why I am on a Disney kick at the moment D:

But what particular scenes from a Disney movie do you think are awesome?

Lion King:

At the end when Simba walk up pride rock and roars. The whole thing was very powerful after watching the entire movie.

The hyena march during Be Prepared. They went from goofy to villians to being very scary.

Sleeping Beauty:

The fire place scene. It scared me when I was a kid XD

Pochahontas:

The end where Pochahontas and John Smith say their good byes. Very sad and powerful moment. And the music was just awesome.

well done for the whole disney kick, i ahve been on one for like a month and a bit.

Simbas roar is definately one of the best as i am a huge Lion King fan and think that movie is the best movie ever

Another good scene from that movie is the moment between Cub Simba and Mufasa when
when Mufasa dies

emm Aladdins escape form the cave of wonders on Carpet is good.

can't think of any more at the moment but they are definately some good scenes and there is alot more in both films tbqh.

The pink elephants bit in Dumbo - as trippy as Disney ever got! Love how surreal it is.

The Genie's first appearance in Aladdin - I can probably forgive Robin Williams all the rubbish he's been in for this performance alone, it's like a whirlwind right from the start

The song Be Prepared in The Lion King - wonderfully sinister

Can we count Pixar films? If so, the scene in Ratatouille
where Anton Ego eats the ratatouille dish. Brilliant, barely lasts 30 seconds and no words needed at all.

Fox and Hound
Made me cry actually...this is my childhood, still have this on VHS, my mother bought most of the disney cartoons and other cartoons for us when we were little..just reminds me of how much my mom loves us and what she did to raise us singlehanded..thinking about it almost making me cry..

Lion King
Mufasa's death...I dont know why I consider these the best scenes, but imo these are the scenes that made the most impact on me when I was younger...

I agree with the end of Fox and the Hound. Especially when you realize that the fox and the hound will probably never see each other again. When the instrumental version of 'Goodbye May Seem Forever' Starts to play, I always lose it.

I love the Beast's Transformation in Beauty and The Beast! It sends shivers down my spine! Such a beautiful moment. <3

The scene in The Little Mermaid where Ariel gives up her voice in exchange for becoming a human. Such an eery yet beautiful scene.

And another eery yet beautiful scene from The Little Mermaid, with Ursula acting as Ariel by using Ariel's voice to sing her way into Eric's heart.

Then there's a mix of funny scenes I adore from The Hunchback of Notre Dame:

Tangled: When the lanterns light up and float up into the sky from the castle and boats, it gets a double bat outta my heart because Rapunzels life has finally begun and she has gotten what she's always wanted; to see the lanterns and the outside world, and Disney made a great maturing role for the last Disney princess.

Its a pretty scene and in my opinion the message carried with it very well, Disney's best creation I dare tread to say. But that's just me, I guess.

I'm such a sap >.>
