Help BEST OF THE BEST

I believe my party was around level 50 for Memoria, and i took
Zidane With Ultima weapon, and the abilities auto-Haste, Auto-regen, Bright eyes, Bandit, Mug and Master thief among others.

Garnet with a racket of some kind, with loudmouth, Auto-Regen, Auto-Haste and others

Vivi, with the High mage Staff, also with the same abilities as Garnet,

and Freya, with the Holy Lance, with the same abilities as Zidane.

i can't remember all of the abilities i used, but that is the most part, as for the armor i just used the Strongest available to me.

Zidane is obviously a necessity. But the most important abilities to equip are Auto-Haste and Auto-Regen. Otherwise you can put on Counter which is great, and I had Master Thief equipped as well.

Vivi is a must have since Black Magic is so useful in this game. You must have Loudmouth equipped. Auto-Haste and Auto-Regen as well, and Half MP is very useful. As is Reflect-Null although thats not as important.

Steiner you should definatley have since hes such a powerhouse. Try and have the Ragnarok so you can use Shock. Otherwise, the normal abilities apply, put on Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen of course. Bright Eyes is useful and so is Counter.

The fourth is pretty much up to personal preference although I usually liked either Amarant or Freya. I never found much need for White Mages after you got Auto-Regen, and if you equip everyone with Shadow Absorbing armour you can just use Vivi's Doomsday to heal everyone and attack the enemy at the same time. Amarant is great with his skills. No Mercy and Aura are particularly good. Freya is probably a touch better, Jump is a great skill on its own but White Draw is very handy to heal Steiner and Vivi's MP, and Dragon's Crest can be very strong if you've beaten up alot of Dragon enemies. :busta:

The big 4 for me were all at Lvl 99 as is my nature to go all out:

Zidane Of course the Ultima Weapon, Thiefs Hat,Theifs GLoves, Brave Suit and if I had 1
a Protect Ring 1/2 Elemental damage. All the Thief abilites active as well.

Garnet Whale Whisker/Tiger Racket, Coronet, N-Kai Armlet,Rubber Suit......Garnets Acc varied from Spirit boosting to summon auxiliary but was......mostly some Pearl Rouge....for some reason:hmmm:

Vivi Mace of Zues, Holy Mitre, Magic Armlet, BlackMage Robe. And a pair of Magician Shoes for that extra Punch!

Steiner....ah BIG Stein, Ragnarok(duh!), Grand Helm, Defence Gloves, Grand Armor THe very powerful Battle Boots as an Acc.

All the Abilities that made them very good at there roles Like Reflect Nul or HP+, Cover for Steiner and Reflect x2 for Vivi to use with Daggers Auto Reflect made the party very dangerous, the Theif abilities are really all Zidane needed his kills were very situation based, and stealing was his forte So why not max out your chances
 
I use everyone... They all have Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen and other important abilities to each individual person.

Mainly I used Zidane, until I could switch him, Garnet, Vivi and Freya. Since I leveled everyone I could switch anyone out for anyone else.

Err.. Just give them good equipment. You get a final weapon for everyone in Memoria, excluding Zidane and Freya who get their's from a Dead Pepper + Chocobo.

Garnet and Vivi for me had a Ribbon equipped.

As for armour. I only remember the Mages. Garnet -> Light Robe, Vivi -> Black Robe, Eiko -> White robe, Quina -> Glutton's Robe.
