Now that we are near the end of the year let us look back at what everyone enjoyed/didn't enjoy the most out of what came out in 2015 and what did the best shall we?

Best Video game: I really didn't play that many new games this year so out of the very small list I did play, I have to get this to Samurai Warriors IV-2 Just cause it was one of the few games that I played that I really wanted to replay....

Best Movie: This one was a real toss up for me. I was almost going just break it down into genre's but I decided on one in the end...not by much though... Inside Out. It was a great overall film...although I really wouldn't want emotions getting lost in my own brain...

Best Book: Archage by RA Salvator, my favorite author

Best Song: I really can't narrow this down to one... so yeah.. ummm I'm going skip

Best TV show (had to have a new season this year at least): Once Upon a Time, So I had a binge watch on netflix, and this was such a great show thus far, and the new season is very interesting too. I hope it stays this good... although

Worst video game: star wars battlefront- I have to admit, I am not sure if this is because I had so much hope for it, or if it is the fact that I wanted it to have more of the first two games in it... but either way I feel it is just another game that became crap in the EA hands...

Worst Movie: Focus - Man Will Smith use to never make terrible movies.... now I feel like I can't see him in a good movie!

Worst Book: Do school books count???? hahah :wacky:

Worst Song: ummmm...yeah...too many annoying ones out there...and Youtube helps make them more annoying :elmo:

Worst TV show (had to have a new season this year): I have to say out of the ones I enjoy, The Walking Dead has taken a downhill turn... I am hoping it will pick back up, but really it is getting so boring most of the episodes, with one exciting one then another 2-3 boring ones... I get building suspense but it isn't even that suspenseful when you know what is basically going happen...

Looking foward to in 2016

Video Game: Ni No Kuni 2 is probably the top on my list. Then Kingdom Hearts 2.8; Final Fantasy XV and Star Ocean then the Dragon Quest VII remake on 3DS

Movie: Suicide Squad I think this is one of those movies that I will either really love, or really hate... there won't be no middle in my mind, but it is one of the ones I am looking forward too the most...

So what about everyone else? Go ahead and add anything you wanna add :elmo:

oh oh this is interesting!

Best Movie: Mad Max: Fury Road
Best Video Game: hmmm probably FF Type-0 because I've way too much time playing it this year.
Best Book: The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
Best Song: I have to say Adele's whole new album
Best TV Show: (I'll pick anime) One Punch Man, easily.

Worst Movie: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Worst Video Game: The Order 1886 :/
Worst Book: definitely school books (specifically the Reactor Design one)
Worst Song: loooooaaaaaads. (igloo and cyrus)
Worst TV Show: Supernatural (can they just end it? please?)

Looking Forward to in 2016

Movies: Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Video Games: FFXV, KH2.8, the Last Guardian
Music: the Word Alive's new album: Dark Matter

Best Video Game: Batman Arkham Origins

Nominations: Folklore & Final Fantasy XIV

I think I'm going to give Arkham Origins "best game" because although it is reputedly weaker than it's predecessors, it was enough to get me interested in the series and eager to play the rest of them. Considering I bought the collector's edition for the statue alone, it was a nice pay off.

Best Movie: The Dark Knight Trilogy

Nominations: Star Wars: The Force Awakens & John Wick

Watched this triology for what has got to be the hundredth time this year, never fails to keep me captivated and engrossed in the DC universe for yet another year. Bring on 2016 and Batman vs. Superman; so pumped!

Best Book: The Whisperers by John Connolly

Nominations: The Wolf in Winter & The Wrath of Angels by John Connolly.

I would be content to read John Connolly's Charlie Parker series forever and since he's all too obliging in continuing it, that might just be a thing. Connolly is a genius writer with an even better taste in music; kudos!

Best Song: Ashes of Eden by Breaking Benjamin

Nominations: Lockdown (Amy Lee), How (The Neighbourhood), Black Beauty (Lana Del Rey), 17 Crimes (AFI), Queen of Peace (Florence + The Machine)

"Ashes of Eden" says it like no one else has; brutal but brilliantly beautiful.

Best TV Show: Supernatural

Nominations: Arrow & The Practice (still a great watch after all this time, thank god for DVDs!)

Yup, I'ma a fan of the Winchester Bros. & Co., loved every season to date and see no reason for it to end now. May it last forever shivas!!! :kylie:

Worst Video Game: N/A

Happy enough with everything I've played/tried out this year.

Worst Movie: The Greatest Story Ever Told

Yeah, not so much. Was really disappointed with this movie, fell asleep for a solid hour and a half after being lulled by it's weirdly stilted dialogue only to find that it was no better when I awoke. Throwing this one into the "No Country For Old Men" dumpster; another overrated-because-it's-"meaningful" movie that left me slack jawed with boredom.

Worst Book: N/A

Was happily reading about Charlie Parker all year. :lew:

Worst Song: N/A-ish

Nominations: Paris (Black Atlass)

There's a lot of crap out there I know, but I'm not listening to it. Bump into a number of artists that don't float my boat when searching for new material, but I don't linger long enough to commit it to memory... although I did get a kick out of trying to imitate Black Atlass' "Paris", a song that's truly odd in a bad sort of way.

Worst TV Show: Beauty & The Beast

Nominations: Smallville

Tried to get into it, but just got bored with the predictable story. Sorry Kristin Kreuk, but it sucked. "Smallville" was almost a shoe in if the finale hadn't delivered a welcome and somewhat alright ending to an otherwise confusing as f**k season 7-10.

LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2016

Movies: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice & Suicide Squad
Book: A Time of Torment (John Connolly)
Album: Thomas Azier's new album whatever it'll be called (crossing my fingers that it will be available in 2016).
TV Shows: Supernatural, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow

Best Video Game

Witcher 3! Probably not a surprise to anyone... Haha. This was my first game in the series and I fell in love with it. I think I clocked in 70 or so hours over a month and I still had so much more to do when I stopped. Admittedly some of the sex scenes were awkward, but it kinda didn't stop me from laughing at them. But yus! The world, the decisions you make, the enemies, the lore, even side quests were very well done. Still haven't got around to playing the DLC but it's on my to-do list.

Honourable mention to FFXIV, which I've clocked an insane amount of hours into. Something that I never thought I would do! A lot of that is to do with the community surrounding the game, rather than what's actually there however.

Best Movie

I'd probably have to say Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Nothing stops the Cruise missile! Wasn't able to see Star Wars, so maybe that will sway my opinion in the near future.

Best Book

I have to admit that beyond required texts for university, I didn't read anything that was published in 2015. Maybe something to improve upon next year. :|

Best Song

Queen of Peace - Florence and the Machine. I waited years for Florence's new album and it absolutely did not disappoint. Love every track! Long and Lost (which is at the end of the video linked) is up there too. Just love her voice.

Best TV show

The only television shows I saw this year were Seinfeld repeats and Supernatural. Haha. So the latter! I just got around to watching the first half of season... 11? I think. But beyond that, I've seen every episode. Big fan! Gonna be a bit sad when it finishes which I assume will be next year.

***

Worst Video Game

Destiny: The Taken King. I don't even know where to begin! I wanted a different kind of MMO fix and instead I got a content starved and overpriced filler expansion. Needless to say I was back playing FFXIV before too long.

Worst Movie

From what I saw, it would have to be The Avengers. It wasn't horrible, per se, it just fell incredibly short. Not what I was expecting. The trailers looked so good! :brooding:

Worst Song:

Don't have one!

Worst Television Show

Same as above. Just didn't watch enough television to experience something I considered bad. Maybe next year! Haha.

Looking Forward to in 2016

Video Game

Halo Wars 2. I haven't played an RTS game in years, but I remember enjoying them quite a bit. Plus it'll give me reason to use my Xbox One which is collecting dust right now.

Movie

Batman vs Superman. I have serious doubts about where this movie is going, but I still wanna see those two fight it out. Even if it only takes up the first half of the movie.

There we gooo

Best Movie: N/A I don't think I've seen a movie that was released in 2015 that I thought was amazing... :hmmm:
Best Video Game: The Witcher 3?

Best Song: Ashes of Eden - Breaking Benjamin / This Means War - Marianas Trench
Best TV Show: The Walking Dead

Worst Video Game: N/A
Worst Book: N/A
Worst Song: Justin Bieber's crap. :ffs:
Worst TV Show: N/A
