Id say Miss Quinn:

- Why what this person the best teacher?

Because she started teaching at my high school when I started and I was in her first ever form.

- Was this teacher understanding?

Very! If you were being bullied, she'd sort it ASAP! She got 2 girls suspended for throwing cut grass at me because my hay fever was terrible and they didnt care!

- Still talk to your favorite teacher?

Sadly no. Last I heard she had gotten married ^^

--------------------------------------

- What made you dislike this teacher?

Mr Fairburn: The fact he was a science teacher and he was meant to be teaching us maths!

- Had a teacher that abused you with so much work?

Hm, yeah my uni teachers. We had about 3 classes. 5 days a week and each expected homework to be done the follwoing week! It was next to impossible as one homework was to read a book a week!

- Ever had a teacher that picked favourites?

Loads did and it was always the swots and snobby nasty cows they favouried. Also the ones with well off parents.

Best teachers

Mrs Glenda Miller - Maths. Something about the woman makes her hilarious. Unintentionally XD every lesson with her so far as made me lucy and Jake nearly die with laughter. Maybe its because the teacher pulls faces as she talks, or because she has a weird voice XD

Miss Garside - Drama. She's just a lovely woman, and she talks to us like adults instead of pupils, and the class always end upchatting with her for half the class.

Worst Teachers

The PE department in general, they just suck. And their heads are so far up their own backsides it's untrue. All the other "Heads of Departments" are fine with being called just that, while the head of the PE department has to be called "Director of Sport" lame.

Mrs Rogers - English. I've had this unpleasent woman for a grand total of...4 lessons. and i HATE her already. We're in our final year of school, taking the most important exams of our lives in May/June and she treats us like 4 year olds.

A Myspace bulletin of mine said:
I'm not retarded, nor am i 5 years old...so why does that new English teacher insist on treating me and everyone in my class like we were both?

Example today

Her "just read the board, copy what you can"

She said it like we were incapable of copying things off the board.

Her after reading a paragraph in the book "of mice and men" "Now i want you to draw what i just described, it's important"

ten minutes later....

"okay, has everyone finished? well you should have drawn....*huge list* has everyone drawn everything? yes. good!"

2nd bulletin about this woman said:
You know, Those sheets you do in year 6 where you have to fill in the missing words?

Ya, those horribly easy spacktarded ones.

Well, somehow our GSCE English teacher decides that it's appropriate for her YEAR ELEVEN GSCE set to be doing them.

Is the woman stupid? is she too lazy to LOOK at our EXAM AND COURSEWORK results and see that their are A and B students in her class? When will i get a piece of work that CHALLENGES my brain?

I HATE her.

And poor Aamir, I'm sure you and Jack will get to be the best of friends.

btw Aamir = My best friend and A student and Jack = Huge Smoker/Drinker/Chav

My final bulletin about her (So far) said:
And here's me thinking Retard English can't get any worse.

It did.

we had to draw CARTOONS and COLOR THEM IN. And Fill in the gaps in the sentences. Which were like this

L____ follows G_____ around the wilderness.

Pathetic.

And to top it all off. Questions 6&7

Q6. Spell Terrier
Q7. Spell Ketchup

And yes, it really looked like that, underlined and all.

She must think we're all retards. Nay. She DOES think we're all retards.

Well I'll be going to Mr Brown tomorrow to bitch about her, and say how she's ruining my GSCE chance. If anyone else who has her want to come too then we're gonna go see Mr. Brown tomorrow morning - probably during tutor

I'll let you know how it goes :monster: a group of us are going to see the Student/Teacher person tomorrow and bitch about her to him :D

Miss Derii (sounds like 'mystery')

- Why what this person the best teacher?
Because she was hot.

- Was this teacher understanding?
Not really. But she stood up for me a tad when I wasn't getting good marks. And she let me cheat on a test.

- Still talk to your favorite teacher?
Sometimes.

madam Doig.

- What made you dislike this teacher?
Because she was retarded beyond belief and I loved pissing her off.

- Had a teacher that abused you with so much work?
yes. I ended up throwing it out in the trash infront of her and told her I wasn't going to do it.

- Ever had a teacher that picked favorites?
Hell yes. I was the favourite.

Best teacher is without a shade of doubt, Mr. Brown; my ICT teacher in sixth form. He was such a big nerd, but in a good way. He'd bully the little bastard that no one in the class liked endlessly. Plus his whole attitude to teaching was excellent. He made us work hard, but because he actually had a sense of humour, none of us minded.

Worst teacher is probably one of my old Maths teachers; Mrs. Cashman. I think she was senile. She used to hear voices, and shout at the class for talking. She's give us brief explanations on how to do things, and then totally flip when we didn't understand.

I never really had any bad teachers, I did had a bad high school principle.

This principle was very fake and two faced. One day she would be super nice to you and the next day she'll give you a nasty attitude. I was staying after school for some extra help in math. I was walking back from the bathroom and she stopped me. She said: "Where are you going!? Where is your hall pass!?" (We don't really use hall passes. o_o) I said: "I'm just staying after school for extra help in Math." So she made go to my math teacher to get proof I was staying after school. My math teacher said: "Just ignore her, she's a bitch." ^_^

I had a few good teachers. I had a couple of teachers who brought baked good in often. Most of my college professors have been pretty nice and very helpful. My watercolor teacher was very caring she would always say: "If you guys need any help please tell me. I'm always here to talk. I love giving people advice!"

Best and worst? Well, there are many best, I would say.

The Best

My English teacher from year 7 'til now
She's been very supportive since I first joined my school in 2001. Now I'm in my final year - year 13-, and she can't really believe how much I've improved. When I joined in year 7, my skills were terrible. She didn't think I'd make it. Then they improved rapidly and by year 9 I was doing well. Some of it's down to maturity, some of it's down to her. I'm grateful to her for that.

My old maths and then IT teacher
Frankly, I hated him. He was a meanie, and picked on anyone. He made people cry and didn't care. He yelled a lot and we all feared him. But that's why he was good. We had so much respect for him that we did the work. We listened and learned. He taught us well.

My old Psychology teachers
Okay, both were great. They were fun, and I always enjoyed learning from them. Sadly, I had to give this subject up to avoid a work overload this year. I love the subject though. One of the two was incredibly fun and had a great sense of humour. The other was a good teacher and, while he wasn't such a joker, he mde the lessons enjoyable.

The Worst

My first form tutor at my current school and old maths teacher
He was boring, he didn't know how to control the class, he got really angry and once walked out of the room after knocking over an over-head projector, which almost hit a girl in the class. I don't dislike him, but he wasn't a good teacher. I know my class were terrible to him, but others dealt with even the worst in the class with ease. It's a lot about personality and how one treats their students. He didn't respect us, the class didn't respect him. I did because my mum, whom I'm afraid of, told me I had to. And guess what? He sent me out of the room as an example when everyone else was yelling at him because he knew I wouldn't make a fuss.

My old Geography teacher
Okay, I feared her, I disliked her, but I didn't learn a lot. 48% in an end of year exam in year 9! That wasn't down to me being stupid, either. I did well in others.

My oild Biology teacher
Okay, I feel really sorry for her. She wasn't a bad person, she just couldn't deal with the chavs. Because of that, she became stressed. She spent half the lessons telling the chavs off. I still managed to get AA in Science at the end of the year, which is good since I didn't listen to the Chemistry teacher (who was either droning on or telling off chavs). I revised A LOT. She's mainly bad because she can't deal with kids.

BESTEST TEACHERS:

1.Mrs Boyd---She was my math teacher in the middle school. She was very understanding and cheerful, and didnt make me feel like a complete moron when I didnt understand something simple. I have this really bad things for being abl3e to understand what most of my other peers cannot, but not understanding what most of them grasp relatively easily.
2.Mr Traina---He was simpley hilarious and very, very blunt and honest with his students. I hated his class (latin, because languages are by far my worst subject) but he was a very great teacher. The second hardest in the school apparently, but he was still loved by most. But if you got on his bad side, he made the whole class suffer, therefore everyone hated you......
3.Mr Barnett---My wonderfully funny anatomy and physiology teacher this year. He goes at a good pace that I really like. (which is pretty dag on fast.) We take about 2 pages front and back, of notes each day and he has visual help for what we learn. Makes games out of studying. Great fun. Just last weekend we went to a swamp to study. Made me dag on tired, but fun nun the less.

WORSTEST TEACHESRS:
*All in all I tend to have bad 'relationships' with my science teachers. I dont know what it is about science, but they tend to be very OCD about how your organize your own folder or binder for that class. And since Im OCD and have my own way of organizing, the two ways clash rather badly. One more thing I have noticed, all science teachers absolutely HATE it when your read in their class.*
1.Mrs Valentine---I am currently failing her class, Biology. To learn, I want to know why we have to do things and what all the numbers mean. She, on the other hand, just goes a nd tells you how to do the steps. And I cant make a connection that way, and whenever I try to ask shes all, 'Why would you want to know that?' Its so frustrating. And not to mention the fact that when I raise my hand for help, and keep it up for about 5-15 mintues, she still doesnte come to me, just takes her merry time. But when I pull out a book to read while I wait for her help after I HAVE finished the problem and do what she says, she comes instantly beside me and warns me of detention or something of the like if she ever sees another book again.
2.Mrs Wall. Basically another Mrs Valentine, except I had her in my Freshman year of High School. She always called on me if I barely moved my head away from her or was anywhere near keeping my conectration from the studies and lectures. Also threatened me when I read in her class.
3.Mrs Dodd---English III teacher this year. Even tho I love to read, shes horrible. She makes us listen to those horribly boring and slow audio-tapes. I hate this because Im a pretty fast reader and the voices just seem so sloooow.

Best Teacher:

Miss.
Heck, she was beautiful, very nice and my 9th grade English teacher (lol, everyone’s favorite).

- Why what this person the best teacher?
One of the best... a friend and I ditched her class one day and she let me off the hook so long as I joined her debate club over the summer. So, I did.

Anyway, what truly made her the best was the amount of time she spent helping me get over my stage fright with public speaking.

- Was this teacher understanding?

Very.

- Still talk to your favorite teacher?
Unfortunately, no.

Worst Teacher:

Mrs. Smirniotis, my 7th grade algebra teacher

- What made you dislike this teacher?

I forget what country she was from, but she smelled horrible, had terrible handwriting, I couldn't understand a word out of her mouth and she always yelled at everyone.

- Had a teacher that abused you with so much work?
Yeah, I had an English Lit teacher that expected a 2 or 3 page essay to be written every night due the next day as well as a book read every week.

- Ever had a teacher that picked favorites?
...... Most of them, actually.

Haha. I have a few hates, but this list may grow in the future though:

Mr. Carlson - Now, biology is supposed to be easy as pie, why did you, the only teacher have to make it so overly difficult than it should be? Teach dang it. All he does is make us take notes and have a test. Stop telling us your stories and teach. This isn't AP Biology last time I remembered. And even if it was, you're doing it wrong! D: < Honestly, teachers like this in my opinion, only grade tough because they can't teach, thus in turn making the students teach themselves and all becomes futile for them to get an A. Also, teachers who have "participation points" only do that because they know their students are so dumb, they won't raise their hand (teacher's fault for not teaching properly), but you just HAVE to force it on them don't you?

Mr. Scalabrino - UGH! English Honors for 10th grade. You royally suck. And your mafia mentality with your "Godfather" movie poster on your podium doesn't make you any more cooler mista. Gray suits are ugly. Wear black ones. You give three tests on the same subject at times. WHY? Especially when some students are having trouble with that particular grammar, are you trying to slap them a triple F? Geez. When they ask for help, you do a poor job of explaining things and teaching overall. You p|-|4||_. And stop playing favorites.

Mr. Wilez - Apparently, the worst art teacher ever. You want us to finish our art stuff early, yet you waste nearly half the class time to teach us. Stop getting lost in your instruction of drawing, because nobody's listening. And stop being overly sensitive. Definitely the most immature art teacher I have ever come across. Very disappointing.
