Balamb Garden

Al looked at Jimmy.
He could indeed dance, if you could call this a dance.
Though, it seemed that this was mote of a solo thing.

Al could not help but think that this had something with Xu to do.

although, Looking at Jimmy was rather cool, so Al ignored the thought about Xu, and cheered Jimmy on
 
Enigma winced, expecting something to go wrong for poor old Jimmy any time soon. Strangely, it was all going smoothly for the suprisingly impressive dancer; Enigma couldn't help but cheer him on.
Off in the distance Becca and Luana had just walked in,
"Holy crap....." He felt his jaw drop basically down to his knees; they both looked breathtaking.
However much attention could be paid to the two beauties, students behind them could be seen flocking towards the fountain.
Perhaps the mystery of the destruction had been solved. Having nothing to keep him there, Enigma jogged towards the exit, passing Luana and Becca on the way, "Evening ladies." With a wink and a grin, he ran past and continued down the corridor towards the fountain.


"What in the hell is this?" Enigma frowned as he saw Squall and Seifer attacking each other. Neither of them had been spotted around Balamb Garden for quite some time and now they re-appear and start destroying the place? That didn't sit well with Enigma, but what could he do? They were much stonger than him and he knew it.

Aware that they had drawn quite a crowd, Seifer decided to show off by putting on arm behind his back and fighting Squall with a single arm.
"Arrogant son of a bitch." Enigma couldn't help but grow in anger. As the two fought on the lights flickered from time to time, creating a strange atmosphere around the Garden. Dusty rubble was being kicked about the now scratched marble floor and the clash of metal was ringing through the hall. Where the hell was Cid? Or Xu? These two should have been dealing with this situation; not SeeD.

Once again the lights flickered, but stayed off for longer this time.
"What's going on now?" Suddenly, the lights shut off completely and there was silence throughout.
Everyone could hear the loudspeaker turn on, but no sign of speech. Seemingly Seifer and Squall had stopped fighting, something had to stop them.
The whole of Balamb Garden was near on pitch black and very creepy.
Enigma felt uncomfortable and with good reason. The loudspeaker could be heard again, but this time there was noice. A subtle, but audible and vile laugh was echoing around the halls.
"Not again. Who the fuck is doing this?!"
Silence again. The lights slowly re-lit and everyone looked bewildered.
Being ever ready, each student and SeeD readied their weapons if they were equipped. To their horror, Blades had been bent. Gun barrels blocked up and Pike's broken in two. All forms of weapon had been sabotaged and Enigma had a sinking feeling that something was about to happen.
"Shit, I wonder if it's the same at the ball?"

As Al was cheering Jimmy on, he heard some clashes of metal in the distance, but ignored it.
It was probobly jsut some students showing of.

untill the lights flickered, and whent,

"what the hell" Al said unknowingly.

He looked around in the darkness, he had a keed eye in the dark. Due to the fact that Al could control the forces of light. The palce looked hazy, lie he could not focus.
this was not normal for Al, he where normally able to see perfectly fine in pitch black.
But not now. it where like a fog.

the speaker made some noices, and a laugh could be heard.
This laugh was rather simmilar to the one he heard the day before.

AS the lights cam back, ne looked around. all looked ok, people had draws theire weapons..
but... the weapons where in no condition to work.
it seemed that the only way to attack, where through magic, or plain hand-to-hand.

so. the question stood. who did this, and why?

"Lucy, sorry, but I have to check this out" he stated to his date, witch nodded in agreement
Al ran out of the ballroom, seeing Squall, and seifer.
That was a supprise, he now knew where the metal clashes cam from.
He looked around.
and Spotted Enigma

"HO!, Enigma" he ran over
"do you have any idea on what happ*" he interrupted himself.

first now he looked around.
the fountain, the rubble

"what the hell happened here"
 
both Squall and Seifer's weapons were in working order and the load Speaker came on again with the same laugh but this time it subsided and everyone herd the words "allow them to continue" before the laught started again.
by this time Squall had ben disarmed and was lieing on the floor with seifer stod over him
Squall: "go ahead finish me of, it's what you want"
Seifer: "too easy"
Evan grabbed squall's gunblade from the floor and blocked Seifer's next sword slash
Evan: "if i can't use my weapon, i'll have to use his"
evan began atacking Seifer with the gunblade while seifer was blocking al the atacks
Seifer: "you honestly think you can take me on alone"
Evan: "who said i was alone... Diablo come forth"
the demonic GF Diablo apeared and looked at Seifer with a smile
Seifer: "DIABLO!!!BUT HOW???"
Evan: "you made the mistake of pising off the wrong Summoner"
diablo grabbed Seifer by the face and caused him to drop his gunblade, he thn slammed him against a wal and let go of him, evan pick up Seifer's blade and looked at him.
Evan: "leave garden and don't come back"
Fujin and Rajin apeared from around a corner helped Seifer up and caried him away from gardenevan threw Seifer's blade to the floor and helped Squall to his Feet
Evan: "you okay instructor?"
Squall: "im fine"
evan handed squall his gunblade and carried him back to his dorm.
 
As Jimmy was dancing the loudspeakers produced strange noises and the lights went out, suddenly nobody was paying any attention to his dancing and Squall and Seifer had appeared out of nowhere and started to fight each other.

Weapons had been twisted into two and everyone seemed to be confused not knowing what to do.

Cid:"ALRIGHT EVERYONE STAY CALM!"

Cid was trying to calm down young cadets and junior classmen but how could he explain what had just happened it looked like a scenary of a bad 80's horror movie.

Then the tought that his weapons were his own hands made Jimmy feel a bit more relaxed.

"(Hmm...the only way to break my weapon is to break my hands.)"


 
Damon arrived at the ball and could see most of the people were enjoying themselves, Damon leaned against the wall on his left and tried to keep attention from himself. Selphie walked over to him and tried to converse with him. "Are you going to join the garden comittee?" she asked "no" Damon answered. "And why not?" Selphie asked, Damon thought to himself "why am I talking? Ah whatever...". "oh whatever!" Selphie called ad she wandered away.

Damon started to walk away to the opposite side of the ballroom while avoiding the dancers.

Evan and squall arrived at Squalls dorm and evan laid him on his bed
Evan: "you okay man?"
Squall: "yes."
Evan: "okay seeya later"
as evan walked out the door squall shouted to him "thanks for saving my ass back there" and he replied "it was my pleasure, and i didn't do it for you. i did it for the Cadets who look at you like your their father" evan then walked out and headed back to the Ball and his beautiful date Sarah
 
Enigma was always the gentleman; ever the charmer. There were times, however, when it seemed too much. Not that Beccalyn found it distasteful, but the way he ogled at Luana and herself made her wonder if Enigma was truly in touch with reality. If he was, he would have noticed that Beccalyn was not dressed for the occasion. She still wore the white longsleeve, denim miniskirt, and black riding boots. Instead of a ball, she would have fit nicely in a club.

Beccalyn followed suit once Enigma went past them. There was a favor she needed to ask. As she was in arm's length distance of Enigma, a sudden ruckus discouraged her from stealing his attention. As she looked on with the rest of the well-dressed attendees, a familiar duo caused a scene. It was Leonheart and Almasy, they were at it again.

Before she could shout a disdainful comment towards the boys, darkness took them all. As a result, the fun was halted, along with the fight. Many wailed in fright and confusion before the lights finally came back to life, and revealed a phenomenon.

Now it was urgent.



Though Al sought his counsel first, she desperately broke in. "Enigma!" Beccalyn grasped the young man's shoulder. "I need you to keep an eye on Luana for me. This doesn't look good at all."
 
Cole and Xu ran up behind Cid, who was trying desperately to maintain order.
"Cid," Cole yelled was soon as they reached him. "What is going on?"
"I'm not sure. I need you two to go and find that out for me. If you need take a SeeD or two with you for back up. I'll try and calm the situation here."
The two saluted Cid and went looking for an available SeeD. Not one of them had a working weapon in hand. All the weapons in the room had been broken in some way. Not that many SeeDs were magic specialty, and the resident summoner had gone MIA to take care of Squall.
"We need Jimmy," Xu told Cole.
He nodded his head and pushed through the croud looking for the new SeeD.
"Jimmy! You're coming with us. We may need your fists."
 
As Damon leant against the wall the lights went out and he could hear a sword fight ensuing over the loudspeaker, he looked to the ceiling as if expecting something to happen. When nothing happened he walked calmly through the darkness avoiding everyone by sticking to the walls. He could hear Cid trying to gain order, while he did this Damon left the room and proceeded to find the source of the blackout, as his weapons were worthless he would have to rely on evasion and stealth which in pitch blckness was a cinch.

Damon had walked the corridoors of Balamb many times so navigating in darkness was easy, he could hear someone carrying a wounded man by the sound of the footsteps so he dodged the sound and proceeded to the elevator and headed to the third floor.
 
Becca's grip on his shoulder was like a vice!
"Are you half woman, half crab by any chance?! You nearly broke my shoulder!" Enigma saw the stern look on her face and ceased the joking.
Al would have to wait, Becca seemingly needed him more.
Watching Luana wouldn't be easy, Enigma knew she would hate the idea of having some form of babysitter watch her every move.
"Hold on a second, if I'm watching her, what are you gonna be doing?"

Enigma wasn't one for standing around and doing nothing in a situation, especially one as alarming as this.
All manner of thoughts were passing through Enigma's mind. Mainly the thought of who could be responsible for something of this scale. Could it be the Galbadians? No, surely not. What reason would they have? But then again, they never needed a reason.
He tried to extinguish that thought as quickly as it sprung to mind; that was how rumours were formed.

Understandably there was a feeling of unrest throughout Balamb Garden, normality needed to be restored.
"OK, Becca, I'm heading back to the ballroom to find Luana. Hopefully I'll find Cid along the way! Please just be careful..."
Before leaving, Enigma whispered something to Al, "Stick with her, and make sure you've got some magic ready; go draw some if not. I don't know about you but I've got the feeling something bad is about to happen."
He patted Al on the back on jogged off in the direction of the ballroom. Hopefully Jimmy was around to provide some attacking force with his fists if they required it.

Al turned towards the direction of the jogging Enigma.
he had his right index finger lifted, as he where to state something.

"but....." it was too late, Enigma had entered the mass.
Thinking of what Becca might do to Al if she found out that she was tailed.
The very thought sent shivers down his spine.

Enigma had point though, Al was mainly a spell caster, so he was a good support.
Perhaps that was his idea from the beginning.

"fuck it. I guess im tailing her. at least until she kills me" Al thought to himself, as he followed the brunette.
 
"I'll be heading off," Beccalyn thumbed at the exit. "I'm not dressed for the occasion because I never planned to attend it. I just thought that Luana needed an escort--and a chaperon for the remainder of the evening."

Enigma gave it some thought, taking long enough to make Beccalyn reconsider. Obviously the guy had other plans, and she hated being or leaving a burden on people like that. It was urgent, however. There was definitely something rotten in Balamb, and the stench was too thick to ignore.

"OK, Becca, I'm heading back to the ballroom to find Luana. Hopefully I'll find Cid along the way! Please just be careful..."

A grateful sigh, and then a firm embrace from Beccalyn to Enigma. "Thanks, Enigma," she whispered loudly, but her low volume had more meaning. The zip was very audible as she spoke. She kept her eye contact with the young man as she tugged on the zipper of his previously open fly. "You be careful too." A soft brush of their lips was all she allowed before she departed the scene. "I'll be in my dorm!" she called out, "You know my number!"

Now she could have sworn that Al had followed suit as she left. She smiled inwardly, wondering if he saw the whole thing.

Jimmy looked around confused, like a child stuck in the middle of a city at war, everyone was running around apparently looking for something or for someone...

He then heard someone call his name it was Xu and Cole, they were both together, for some reason Jimmy grabbed Sarah by the hand when he saw them she blushed and he got crimson red when he understood that he had just touched her hand as if she was his girlfriend...

"Bwahhhh...i'm sorry i was ahhh..."

He got interrupted by Cole, they needed his assistance since there weren't many hand to hand fighters in the Garden, plus Jimmy could also use mid-level magic and could also summon Cerberus, at that moment he seemed to be pretty well qualified compared to the rest of the students.
 
"Hurry up kid," Cole yelled over to Jimmy. "We got to get moving if we want this thing taken care of."
Cole headed toward the door. He was having difficulty getting through the potential riot. Xu stayed a little back to make sure Jimmy got to them okay.
When he reached the ballroom exit he stuck his head out to see if there was any trouble out there. It was dark, but there didn't seem to be any disturbances. He stepped out and summoned Carbuncle. The little creature jumped from its hole in the gound and landed on Cole's shoulder.
"Hello old friend. I'm sorry we haven't worked together for some time, but I need a little light for the way."
Carbuncle's Gem began to glow bright. The hallway became much more visible than it was a moment earlier.
"Thank you."
Carbuncle turned its head and gave Coles face a quick lick.
"Now we just need to wait for Jimmy and Xu."
'Where is Xu anyways? She was right behind me...She must still be trying to get the kid. they better hurry before people start getting hurt.'
 
As the dance turned into a riot, Arthvader headed towards Cole to ask about the situation.

Arthvader "Hey, Cole, Just what in the world is going on? First, I saw Squall and Seifer fighting, then all this happened. Can you tell me the situation?"
 
Cole turned to see Arthvader standing there.
"Everyone is in a panic over what just happened," Cole replied. "Even most of the SeeD. It is good to see that you are in the right mind. Cid is sending Xu, myself, and whoever we can get, to go out to find out what is the cause of the trouble. We head out as soon as Xu comes with Jimmy. You can come along if you think you can handle whatever is out there without a weapon."
 
Now knowing the situation that has happened, Arthvader decided to help Cole out. He figures that this will be more interesting than the dance.

Arthvader "Sure, I'll help. I'm ready to go at any time."
 
Evan walked over to Cole and Arthvader, and loked at them
Evan: "i dont care about the situation, non of us have weapons so i guess Diablo would be a big Asset in the upcoming battles im coming with you"
Evan then turned around to sarah and smiled at her
Sarah: "evan your leaving"
Evan: "i have to they need me and diablo"
Sarah: "what about the dance"
Evan: "you stay here and i will come and get you when i return"
Sarah: "you better do Mr"
sarah ran over to the other side of the bal rooma and started trying to calm people down while evan waited with Cole and arth
 
Cole words annoyed Jimmy, who did he think he was to call him kid!?

"(I could own him anyday of the week he thinks he is a hotshot but i could knock him out cold with a punch!!!! Wait...what am i doing? I'm only being jealous...i have to snap out of it!)" He wondered to himself.

Focusing on the task at hand he rushed to the side of Cole not knowing what they were going to face, Sarah told him to be careful for some reason Jimmy blushed a bit after hearing her voice.

"I'll be ok!!!!!"
