Balamb Garden

Taken quite by surprise Damon grabbed his communicater almost like it was a snake about to bite him, he loosened his grip and slowly put the headset on.

"anybody who has their com on, what is the status of the bus? has it even left yet?"

"Hey there! I see you are already over at Balamb, we ain't moved as of yet, still waiting on everyone else, slowpokes".
 
Evan heard his com come on as Sarah asked "whats taking them so long?"

"Hey there! I see you are already over at Balamb, we ain't moved as of yet, still waiting on everyone else, slowpokes"

Evan looked at her trying not to laugh "they haven't left yet" he answered "apparently not everyone is on the bus yet"
Sarah looked at him "tell me your joking" she announced
Evan: "nope, Damon jus' told me over the comm"
Sarah: "WHAT!!!!!!" Sarah began to get angry and pulled her phone out of her pocket quite violently and she began texting,
Evan: "who is that to"
Sarah: "NON OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS!!!"
Evan: "okay, you need to get your weapon"
Sarah: "then lets go"
Evan and Sarah walked over to the weapon shop and walked in. the shop keeper saw them and came to his counter
Shop keeper: "how is the sword working?"
Evan: "haven't had time to use it"
Shop keeper: "ok then"
Sarah: "i'm here to get my weapon"
the shop keeper handed Sarah a list of names which specified what weapon the Seed members needed "find your name" he told her "and highlight it with this" he added handing her a Pink highlighter pen, she did so and he walked into the back were he fixes and creates his weapons, there was a couple of loud banging noises, as if something heavy had been dropped, and then the Shop keeper walked out with a long leather whip that reminded Evan of Quistis' weapon when they were friends many years ago,
Evan: "nice whip"
Sarah: "thank you"
Evan: "i guess you didn't notice the sarcasm in my voice?"
Sarah: "i did i just chose to ignore it"
Evan: "okay then"
Evan and Sarah walked over to a restaurant to have a drink and something to eat while they waited for the Bus
 
When Damon did not detect a reply he replaced his headset into his pocket. He then continued to wait, he wondered what was taking the others so long, He really could not stand to wait for so long. To keep himself occupied he decided to rest his eyes, not exactly fun but at least he could calm himself down. He began to think on the events that had transpired since before the SeeD exam. The attack on Dollet, the blackout, the sorceress, Cid's slip-of-the-tongue and now this, what was going on and when would things start calming down? At least he would be kept occupied, with all that was going on once he retrieved his weapon he would be able to get rid of some energy. He lowered his head slightly to hide his face and started to fall asleep, still deep in thought.
 
Jimmy slowly walked in the direction of the transport, Enigma was still near the door, with a few tickets on his hand, looking at the front gate to see if anyone else appeared...

"YO Enigma i don't think anyone else is going to come, let's just go!!!"

His patience was smaller then usual, he looked back at the Garden one last time hoping he would not have to stay away for too long. As soon as Jimmy walked inside the transport he saw Xu with Cole sitting next to each other...

"(Grrrr....now she follows him like a dog! Man i wish i would have let that Grendel get him)"

Boiling with jealousy and anger he moved to the back of the bus and sat down in a vacant seat.
 
Evan was eating his dinner from a local restaurant with Sarah sat next to him, they were having a conversation about the making of history. the first time balamb garden had ever had to be abandoned.
Sarah: "this Edea thing must have my uncle really worried"
Evan: "well, yea it must do its the first time balamb garden has ever been evacuated fully"
Sarah: "I'm worried about him"
Evan: "nothing will happen to him"
Sarah: "how do you know"
Evan: "because the garden masters who guard him are better magic users than me, i saw one use holy the other day"
 
"Nuts to this, the bus is just gonna have to come back and get the others."

Thinking about it closer, surely it would be slightly safer for the SeeD's to be separated partially. As long as they stayed in contact, who says they need to stay side-by-side every minute of every day?

"YO Enigma i don't think anyone else is going to come, let's just go!!!"

Enigma had drifted off in his thoughts as usual, thankfully Jimmy had startled him so they could finally get going.
He patted Jimmy on the back and leapt into the bus. He saw Xu sitting next to Cole, and cringed.

"Ouch, Jimmy won't like that at all."

Knowing how angry and upset Jimmy would be upon seeing this, Enigma devised a small, childish plan.

"Jimmy I'm telling you, getting over Xu is the best thing you could ever do."

He purposely said this loud enough for Xu to hear, but at the same time acted as if he hadn't seen her.
Jimmy looked slightly bemused, no wonder. In Enigma's mind Xu would hear this and hopefully want him more; wanting what you can't have was the idea he was going for.
He winked at Jimmy to indicate he had a plan, smiled, and sat down next to the window.

The bus jolted into life and shot away from Balamb Garden. The others would undoubtedly get to Balamb soon; they had to.
At that moment it was just a matter of getting to Fisherman's Horizon first and then worrying about the details later.

Damon quickly turned his comm set on and changed it to the global frequency: "Hey guys, a mojority of us are on our way to Balamb. For everyone who couldn't get on the bus with us; good luck. Hopefully we'll see you soon."
Enigma cared for every SeeD, they were his family now.
 
Jimmy did not know what to say to Enigma, on one hand he made Xu understand that Jimmy saw her as more than a simple instructor but on the other hand some fellow female students who were sitting on the seats behind him also heard Enigma comment...

"(Shit...thanks a lot Enigma now i won't get Xu nor any other female in the Garden they will probably tell everyone that i have feelings for Instructor Xu, and i will loose my cool status...darn it!!!)"

It seemed Jimmy was about to blow up, his cheeks got red and in attempt to deny Enigmas statement he got up and muttered something out...

"LOL THAT WAS A FUNNY JOKE ENIGMA AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! SUCH A COMEDIAN THIS GUY RIGHT HERE!!!Ahhh...right?"

Everyone inside the bus was looking at Jimmy, some giggled others just gazed at him with their eyes wide open. It was clear he had once again overacted. Feeling embarrased Jimmy sank into his seat and did not open his mouth again...until they reached Balamb.
 
evan and Sarah left the restaurant after paying and saw the bus arriving in Balamb
Evan: "hey look Sarah, theres the bus"
Sarah: "oh yea so it is, hehe, when they park do you mind if i return to the fan group."
Evan looked at Sarah with a smile. "gotta tell them everything that happened
Sarah: "yea something like that"
Evan: "it's okay, i don't really mind what you do"
Sarah: "okay"
the bus pulled over in the bus stop, and the doors opened. the Seed members began geting out of it slowly
 
As the bus began to depart Damon was shook awake by the force of the vehicle's engine as it roared into life. With them being transported to Balamb now there was no need to rest, when Balamb was in sight he prepared himself for disembarkment. As the bus became stationary again at the bus stop Damon stood up and proceeded to the exit, he had to queue behind other excited SeeD members and students just to get out. "Damn... just wait til the weapon queues..."
 
Evan saw Damon stood in the queue to get off of the bus so he knocked on the window to get his attention and then signaled him to turn his comm to channel 4, and said "hey dude i will go get in the queue for the weapons shop and you can join me near the front" Evan then turned around and walked to the weapon shop and joint the queue which began geting very long with all the Seed's wondering what their weapons would look like and weather they had bin upgraded or no, Evan laughed and looked towards the back of the queue for anyone he knew, when one Seed shouted "hey why are you in the queue you have your weapon"
Evan: "no this is my car key, i need my weapon"
the queue returned to it's original conversation and Evan waited for Damon
 
Damon spotted Evan outside knocking on the window closest to him, he then indicated his headset so he switched over to channel 4, he then listened to what Evan had to say. "hey dude i will go get in the queue for the weapons shop and you can join me near the front". Damon then replied to Evan "Thanks bud, once I am out of this mob I will see you there". Damon was nearing the exit, as soon as he was inches from the doors he jumped forward and knocked a few unaware students aside. As he ran to Evan he called back "sorry!" and proceeded to the ever growing queue of students and SeeDs. When he found Evan in the group of heads he barged over to him. "Thanks for saving me a spot".
 
Evan was stood with a smile on his face , mainly because of Damon's lack of subtlety when barging into the front of the queue when he heard the same voice as before
Voice: "Hey he can't push in"
Evan: "he can, and will"
Voice: "fine then"
he then heard footsteps coming towards him, when he turned around he was punched in the stomach, he grabbed his stomach and bent over, when he looked up he saw an angry looking student
Student: "just because you have your giant Key don't mean you and your frined have priority over us"
Evan: "you are going to regret that"
Student: "and why is that?"
Evan stood back up and smiled "because that didn't hurt" he informed the student he then drew his Keyblade and pointed the blade towards the Student who was now walking backwards in fear "now i sugest you return to where you were before i hurt you
Student: "no"
a second Student grabed the first students arm and informed him that he was starting a fight with an Ex-Instructor and the first student returned to his place
Evan smiled and sheathed the Keyblade, "thats what i thought" evan turned to Damon and laughed,
Evan: "so how was the bus ride down here?"
 
Damon saw the student, he seemed like a hothead, he was going to hit him for attacking his friend if Evan didn't use his keyblade on him. When they settled back in line Damon turned to Evan. "The bus was damn boring... good job Balamb ain't far, sucks being me, nothing is interesting. Hopefully when we hit FH I can find something to amuse myself with." As Damon said this they were advancing towards the entrance of the weapon shop, Damon and Evan were now mere steps away from re-aquiring their weapons.
 
evan still had a smile on his face, and being stood inches away from the dor to the weapon shop was a great help to his mood, there was only one person in front of them and evan couldn't wait for their turn so Damon could get his weapon and they could leave
Damon: "The bus was damn boring... good job Balamb ain't far, sucks being me, nothing is interesting. Hopefully when we hit FH I can find something to amuse myself with."
Evan: "yea i hope so, haha"
the last Seed left the shop and Evan and Damon realised it was their turn to enter the shop, so Evan entered and walked up to the counter
Evan: "hey shopkeeper, my mate needs his weapon back"Evan looked over to the door and Damon wasn't in the shop with him, Evan shook his head
Evan: "OI, DAMON" Evan shouted "WOULD YOU GET IN HERE ALREADY"
 
Enigma was one of the students Damon decided to shove out of the way, but managed to retain his place midway in the queue.
In a strange way, waiting to receive his weapon was like getting a present; even though he knew exactly what it was. Without his Sai by his side, Enigma felt slightly unprepared, it was a relief to get them back.

Jimmy was the only person who could avoid the mass waiting list of SeeD's for their weapons, but he was occupied with staring at Xu and Cole. The two instructors were standing next to each other in the queue and Jimmy's frustration was there for all to see.

"Oh god, I hope he's learnt how to keep his cool..."

Probably not. Waiting for his turn was now becoming tiresome, so he decided to have a bit of fun.

"Wow, is that a triple triad card?!" Enigma pointed to a spot to his left, faking excitement extremely well.

Instantly a small group dispersed from the crowd and ran over to where he was pointing. Of course, there was no card, and no sign of intelligence apparently. A smug Enigma pranced forwards in the line and waited for his turn, which was now much sooner. The fooled SeeD's just looked, and hung their heads in shame.
 
"Why did you join the queue anyways," Xu asked Cole as they stood there. "You have your weapon tied to your side."

Cole gave her an irritated smile. He reached for the handle of his saber and pulled. It would not come free from its hilt. After a few tugs he let it rest at his side.

"This is not something they could in time for our travels. They told me they had another just like it. I just had to bring this one to them personally so they could take a look at it."

"Oh and here I thought you got lucky," Xu teased.

Cole gave a deep sigh and looked around at the others. It was then that he noticed Jimmy staring at him and Xu.
'Poor kid. It must be tough for him, falling for an older instuctor and all.'
He shook he head and continued to look around.
 
Damon walked into the shop, he saw Evan and the shopkeeper waiting for him. "Evan, there was no need to shout y'know". Damon walked over to the shopkeeper "I presume you have my weapons?" Damon asked "In the back, follow me". Damon did as instructed and saw his weapons layed near an anvil, they had only recently been finished. He grabbed them both and then the shopkeeper drew his attention to his sheathes, they were laying on a shelf not too far from the anvil, Damon strapped them into their respective places and then re-sheathed his blades. "Thanks keeps, see you around" Damon called to him as he left the shop. When he was back in the sunlight he walked towards the item shop near the train station, he bought 2 hi-potions and then walked towards the train station. When he entered the train station he leant against the wall left of the entrance.
 
Evan followed Damon out of the Weapon shop and then to the Item shop he walked over to the counter and smiled at the attractive young Blonde girl behind the counter.
Evan: "he cutie, could i purchase 3 Hi-potions and 3 Hi-Ethers please"
Shop keeper: "sure." the shop keeper passed him the potions "thats 2628 gil please"
Evan: "okay" evan reached into his pocket, pulled out a load of notes, counted them and passed it to her "there ya go"
Shop keeper: "thank you" she put the money in the till and loked at Evan with a smile, "you surprise me"
Evan: "hows that?"
Shop keeper: "well normally young hot-shot Seeds come in her and try to chat me up"
Evan: "well i would try but i would probably get shot down" Evan extended his arm to offer the girl a hand shake "I'm Evan"
the young shop keeper smiled and shook his hand
Shop keeper: "I'm Casandra"
Evan: "you mind if i call you Sandy?"
Sandy: "hehe, not at all, thats what my friends call me"
Evan: "okay then, I'll see you someday, i gotta go or I'll be late for my train"
Evan walked out of the shop Smiling and walked towards the Train station,
 
OCC: Remember, My character dosen't know that everyoneone is going on a mission, yet.

IC:
After walking for miles from the garden, Arthvader has finally arrived at the train station.

'Finally. Now, to get some supplies.'

Upon arriving at the train station, Arthvader decided to head towards the shop to pick up several items. Once there, he purchased several healing items that he feels would be useful during his hunt. upon leaving the shop, Arthvader walked to the train, which just arrived. along the way, he saw Evan.

Arthvader "Hey there, Evan, How are you doing? What brings you here at this station?"

OOC:Arth im at the train station in Balamb so i can't be sat on a bus

IC:Evan was walking throught the train station wondering which train was theirs going to FH and what the interior would be like hopefuly it had seats, he sat on a bench and lent forward placing his elbows on his Knees when someone tapped on his shoulder
person: "Excuse me, do you have a cigarete lighter"
Evan: "no, but i can do this"
Evan prepared a fire spell in the palm of his hand so it was a ball and held it out to the random stranger
Evan: "here ya go mate"
the man lit his cigarette and walked off. Evan sat back in his chair and looked to the ceiling he was getting extrememly bored and didn't know how long this stint of the mission could take
Evan: "i always prefer when we have boats to travel to missions makes things easyer"
