Hi, I noticed some avatars look bigger than the max 100 x 100 size, but so far I've only seen mods and other higher ups with bigger avatars, so I was wondering if that was just a perk allowed to them or can regular members have larger avatars as well?
 
Just mod's i think! I think they get like unlimited space aswel seeing as Derek had a giant monster :wacky:
 
Yeah, mods usually get unlimited avvy size.
 
When I go to change my avatar it says - Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

It's just a little perk that comes with the job xD

Not sure if we're extending it to senior/veteran members though...
 
I know that staff can change our avys and make them bigger after a certain Celine incident I had recently :wacky:
 
Veteran Members and Senior members have had their avatar limits set to 150x150 and 12x120 respectively. However avatars will need to be re-uploaded in order to notice this.

Staff may exceed the 100x100 limit, as mentioned, a "perk to the job".
 
Sorry to revive an old topic, but when are you considered a senior or veteran member of the site?

I've been here a year now, but my avi size is still only restricted to 100 x 100, so is it dependent on the post count then, or something else :huh:
 
Is that for Senior, or Veteran member though?

And I just checked the Senior group's permission. Avatar size is set to...120x120, while Veteran is 150x150.
 
My avatar thingy (where you update your avi >.<) says my maximum size is 150x150... :| If I'm not a veteran yet, how is that? -confused;-

Actually, SpongeBob has a huge ass avatar too, so wtf -__-
 
Perhaps reputation has something to do with it? =/ I can't really think why certain members would have higher avatar sizes than others to be honest...

But still, now I'm all pouty >__<
 
I am pretty sure because you guys are in another usergroup (such as the Teams) and the avatars were probably set at 150x150. I'll go have a look and fix it.


Edit:

There we go, found the problem. All Teams were set at 150x150, so if you belong in a team, that enabled you to have a 150x150 avatar size. But that should no longer be the case. =]
 
Whahahaha, no more free rides for you guys :gasp:

And that still leaves me where I was before >_<
